I just recently downloaded a song but it wont let me listen to it

i just recenlty bought a few songs. I listend to them twice and now whenever i try to listen to them it doesnt let me and it just goes back to hte home screen. i dont want to re-buy these songs so if anyone knows how to fix this problem please leave a message!!!!!! ~iammmmmsooooocooolll

Make sure you fully download the songs. Now you are only streaming it. Try going to iTunes>Puchased and download it.

i just recently got my iPod Nano and i downloaded iTunes to my Computer. I loaded some cd's onto iTunes and got 11 songs from them. Then i put more cd's in and tried to get more songs but it didnt work. My sister tried and it worked. So how do you actually download song?/

What happens when you try to download it, and does it show in the Purchased tab in the iTunes Store app on your iPad, and if it does, does it have the cloud icon against it for downloading ? If it doesn't have the cloud icon and doesn't show in the Music app, then try logging out of your account (tap on your id at the bottom of the Music tab in the iTunes Store app) and then log back in and see if it then has the cloud icon.

Itunes let me buy a song, but now wont let me buy anything else. How do I delete the song from my billing receipt so I can start updating my apps again?? PLEASE HELP

I had gotten a gift card with around $20 on it so I decided to buy some songs. I had bought a few, then I bought the last song, and now iTunes wont allow me to update my apps, or let me download any other apps because apparently I have $0 on my card; The weird part about that is it let me keep the song, but wont let me get anything else regardless of the charge. I don't have a credit card myself, so I'm really trying to avoid buying another gift card for one 99 cent song. Does anyone know how to get rid of a song from the billing receipt? I've tried everything!

Purchases are considered final, but you can try the 'report a problem' link to contact iTunes Support and see if they will cancel the purchase : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

I authorized my windows pc as one of my 5 computers and downloaded purchased songs but it only lets me play 1 minute 30 seconds and starts in the middle how do i fix this

It sounds like you might have broken links to your content. Either repair these by putting the files you've recovered where iTunes expects to find them or delete the broken entries then go to iTunes Store > Purchased > Music > Not on This Computer, and click the download links.
If you have an Apple device see also Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.

My windows computer died,it now has linux mint 9.I installed itunes on a new windows computer.Purchased new songs but it wont let me download or dispaly my old music.But it did transfer 3 movies over to new itunes account.

My windows computer died installed linux mint 9.(will not use for itunes)
Purchsed another windows computer and installed itunes.
Purchased songs howeverwould not let me sync with new computer or transfer old library.
However it did transfer 3 movies.
I authorized new computer and home sharing.
Do not want to lose old library and keep mgetting warning.

iPod shuffle and iPhone are intended for use with a single computer. You cannot load music from multiple computers or iTunes libraries onto iPod shuffle and iPhone like you can with other devices.
You'll need to setup your iPod to sync to this new iTunes library:

What happens when you try to redownload them ? What you can re-download (the types of content that you can redownload varies by country) will show under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes, and the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on your iPhone (and similarly for apps in the App Store app). If you still have your old phone then you should be able to copy your iTunes downloads from it over to your computer's iTunes via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases

If you purchased all of the songs through itunes store, please follow these steps:
1. Open up Itunes and Click on Itunes Store
2. Once you're in the Itunes Store look to right side of the screen and you should see the word "purchased". Click purchased and you'll be sent to a purchase screen.
3. Click on "All Songs" and then it will show all the songs you've downloaded. From there you just hit the button that looks like a cloud with an arrow on it, and it will download all the songs all over again.

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.

Is there anyway that I could get my videos to appear in my playlist? They are still in my ipod in the video section, but just won't appear in my playlist.

iOS6 problems aplenty ....not sure if the link I inserted is working or not, but the issue is a lot more prevalent - the issue being that what shows up & plays in iTunes after the iOS6 update is not what shows up (& plays) on the device itself. This may go beyond just the iPod Touch as well.
In my case I can see & play both audio & video files in my Playlist through iTunes, but can only see the Playlists on the iPod Touch with ALL of them being empty. Syncing numerous times no help. Contacting Apple Tech. Support no help - they suggested downloading my Purchases from the iTunes Store - waste of time, did not make a difference. It is clear Apple needs to release a fix to OS6.
Another problem I noticed on the device is that the Shuffle option is hidden on the built-in Songs Playlist, having to swipe the screen down to see it - dumb dumb dumb.

I purchased an album from the iTunes store VIA the wish list Purchase option.
The 2 albums and 3 songs were purchased. However, one of my songs was stuck in the "Computer is not authorized / Already Authorized" loop. Where it asks me to authorize a song, but then says the computer is already authorized and doesn't play the song.
I noticed looking at "Get Info" there were two key differences.
The songs that were valid and would play have:
Kind: Purchased AAC audio file
Purchased by: **********
Account Name: *****@gmail.com
The one song that would NOT play and caused the authorization loop has:
Kind: AAC audio file
Purchased by: <this field was NOT PRESENT like it was on the other files>
Account Name: *****@gmail.com
(**** = redacted, however the two Account Name fields were identical)
As you can see, the Account name match, but the "Purchased By" field is missing and the Kind is not marked as "purchased".
THIS IS A BUG. As the entire album was bought under the same method, same time, and same account, yet, one file is improperly tagged, and does not play. The trouble file was found in iTunes store, added to Wish list, and purchased in the same session, no other log-off, shutdown, or iTunes restart to cause a selection of anouther account name.
This leads me to believe that iTunes is not properly tagging a file after it is downloaded that it has been purchased, thus, causing the loop.
Apple can't blame anyone else here, as only apple hardware and software were involved in this. MacBook Pro, OS X 10.6. iTunes 10.7 (21)

There seems to be a billing problem with the iTS. I've been trying to make purchases today (Dec 9th) too and it reports either the iTS can not process payments or it says my card was declined. I even changed the payment method to Paypal (which is never declined) and still no go.
I don't think it is "you" but a problem at Apple. Some popular new apps were released recently like Logic Pro and perhaps they're getting bombarded as they did when Lion was released.
Wait a few hours and then try again.
