With a new account, you'll need to rebuy the games.
Each user should have their own icloud account, otherwise they end up getting the same emails, contacts, calendars, notes, reminders, etc. - usually not what you want. But if all have been sharing the same itunes ID, keep it that way, you can have different IDs for itunes and icloud.
If you already have another icloud account, and want to set it up on a device, then go to Settings>icloud, scroll to bottom of screen and tap Delete Account. This only disconnects the device from that account, no data is lost on icloud. Then enter the account ID that you want to use.

Apple does not get involved with lost or stolen items. A carrier may offer IMEI blocking (non in the USA currently do, but elsewhere some do). Your carrier would already know your IMEI number anyway, so just contact them and ask them about it.
It is VERY good that you had a passcode lock on the device. That means your personal information will be safe. And yes, after 10 failed attempts (each with increasing time out between allowing another attempt) the device will permanently lock them out until they restore the device in iTunes. Anyone can go ahead and restore your iPhone as new in iTunes, but that also wipes everything off it and restores it to new condition - which does mean they can go off and use it as theirs, but at least all your data is gone.
Did you file a police report it was stolen? Also your carrier should be told (and ask them about IMEI blocking). Sorry it is gone, but you did the best thing possible to protect yourself and your information when you set up that passcode lock. -
I redirected iTunes to an external drive and moved my iTunes library and folder, but my hard drive is still low on space. How can I be sure that my music is all on the external HD ONLY, especially with the new iCloud technology? It doesn't look like I created any more space by doing this, AND I totally lost all my iTunes playlists. I'm not sure if because I added old library materials manually if this messed up my playlists, or if the new location is just not reading my moved library. In any case, I followed step by step instructions and found a few holes and thought I'd just "figure it out" but I guess I'm not as smart as I thought since I'm still scratching my head many hours later.

EaglerockerQuick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive. Open iTunes and immediately hold down the option (alt) key (shift on Windows) so you get a prompt to select a library, then guide it to the 'iTunes Library.itl' file in the moved iTunes folder.
If this is to a new computer and you put the copied iTunes folder in the default location of Macintosh HD > Users > *User Name* > Music then you don't even need to start with the option key held down, iTunes will automatically look for it there. (Make sure there isn't anything already in the iTunes folder there that you want to keep since you will be replacing it with the one you are moving.)

I have a 27" iMac with 16GB of factory installed SDRAM and 1T harddrive. It is telling me the harddrive is full and is not functioning correctly. How can I adjust so that all files are managed on the harddrive rather than the SDRAM. (BTW - design flaw here.)
Older Macs with a single Harddrive would simply expand OS management on the drive, and I think I understand the new Fusion Drive to do just that, but how do I get this product that I spent a great deal of money on to be more than a pretty screen?I was confused by this statement

OS X manages ram and when you run out, it create swapfiles to extend your ram on the HDD (Hard Disk Drive). The OS itself, takes about 16 gig of space and that too resides on the HDD. Your 16 gig of RAM is really a temporary space that holds things from the HDD so the processor can work on them. There is no design flaw between your ram and HDD. Something else is going on and there are a lot of smart people here to help you figure out what that "something else" is.
I would do three things. First I would create a backup, backups are important. Second, I would reboot into recovery and repair my HDD. Lastly while still booted in recovery I would repair permissions.

Are you writing of kernel extensions? To see which non-Apple kernel extensions are loaded on your system, open Terminal (Applications>Utilities) and copy and paste:
kextstat | grep -v com.apple
...this will give you a list of the non-Apple kexts that are loaded.
Generally, they will be at the root directory of your drive in System>Library>Extensions, but they could be hiding in a user folder. Usually, all you have to do is use a free tool such as EasyFind (from the App Store) to search for a key word in the extension ("blackberry", for example, to find a BlackBerry driver) and then you can delete it.
If you're not writing of kernel extensions, you'll have to explain more clearly what you're trying to find.

This is how it works for me in my Sports Illustrated magazine app. If this doesn't work for you, you will have to seek your individual magazine support to find out how to do it.
You can tap and hold down on a magazine icon until it wiggles and then tap the X on the icon to delete it. Or, tap the Library button in your magazine app to show all of the issues on the iPad, and then tap the Edit button to bring up the X to delete. -
I have two user accounts on the same machine to monitor (different security levels). I'm in on the main account most of the time but I need to know when the other has unread emails (Yes, different email accounts and they can't see each other). I tried setting up a rule that would send a note to me (to my other email account) when a message arrives but (a) I can't get the rule to execute when the email arrives, and (b) I can't send a non-secure note (eg., "New Mail Waiting") - all I can do is forward the email. Is there any way I can do this without learning AppleScript and writing it myself? (Both user accounts using the same iCloud account)

DonThe "Rule" probably won't work when that user isn't signed in and/or being used. My suggestion is to sign into that email's account on the web service. Example if you have an icloud.com email account, go to icloud.com and go to the little gear in the lower left. Set the rule there. Rules set there should work all the time, since it's "on" all the time. Where as if the rule was set on the Mac Mail app, it has to be opened and what not.

How can I import dvds that have already into iMovie and edit them?
I just purchased an iMac and after Apple moved all of my movies into iMac from my PC, I am trying to edit the movies in iMovie that are in the iMac. Can't seem to figure this out. Is it possible to create a new movie from an .avi file? Also, why is it when I click on a frame in an iMovie it keeps going back to the first frame??? Whew , very frustrating!

You'll have to convert the AVI to a format iMovie can accept. You might try the freeware MPEG StreamClip and see if it can handle your AVI, though AVI is just a container format and can use any number of codecs, some of which have never been ported to Mac.

After the last IOS upgrade, a freind sent me an email from her Suddenlink account. Now I get a duplicate of everuy email she receives. This is driving me crazy plus it is an invasion of her privacy for me to be receiving all her facebook responses, banking info, medical info, catalogs, etc. I don't want the onslaught of all this email. What do I need to do to correct this? When I receive the emails, they have her address, not mine. If I send her a new email at her Suddenlink address, it comes to me and to her. Please help, this is driving me crazy.

How can I play apps that I've downloaded with iTunes on my Windows laptop?
I have downloaded the itunes for 64 bit windows, as my laptop is running windows8.1. Is there anyway I can play apps from apple itunes store or have I downloaded and installed the itunes software wasting my time for nothing. I downloaded Hay day, clicked on the icon in the itunes app but all it does is higlight it or if I right click it just gives my info as you would expect. Am i doing something wrong or just wasting my time, Thank you in advance
Apps that you download via iTunes are designed for iDevices (iPod, iPhone, iPod). They will not work on any traditional computer.
