I just recently updated to firefox 15 and almost every 5mins it crashes. when I open a new browser all i get is a blank white screen. Is there a way to fix this
as i was typing up this report it crashed on me twice....

Every time Firefox openedDavid. Thank you very much. The problem was not with the canvas but rather the Viewer. But the solution was the same. Somehow, the Viewer window was re-set to Alpha. I changed it back to RGB.... and the picture is back. These issues are often very simple.... but they can drive you bats if you don't know the answer. Very grateful. Tim

I downloaded firefox 8.01 and as usual I set Google to be my homepage on opening. After doing so I still get a blank page and would like to know how I can rectify this.
i found the solution to my problem:
just click the extensions-button on top of the screen (in dutch it's "extra". Go to "add-ons" and uninstall the veedh-thing-plugin. problem solved :D -
Looked at other forums, updated flash. Not sure if this is a bug or if something got corrupted. There are other answers suggesting profiles, extensions, add-ons. Honestly I'm a bit lost.
This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

What do I do? It started yesterday morning, the videos work on Internet Explorer and Google Chrome but I have all of my bookmarks and my bookmarks tool bar on Firefox. You can try basic steps like these in case of issues with web pages:
Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and the cookies from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
*Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or earlier, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test. -

I went and downloaded FF13.0 and now I can no longer view video. At first I was able to view flash, mp4, etc video, then I went to see about updating Real Player and then every stopped working. I at first thought this was just a problem with FF13, but after trying also Internet Explorer I found the same problem. Is there any way pf fixing this problem?
Recent crashes of certain multimedia contents (this includes Youtube videos, certain flash games and other applications) in conjunction with Firefox 13 are most probably caused by a recent Flash 11.3 update and/or a malfunctioning Real Player browser plugin.

I lost the ability to use wifi after the 8.02 update. Is there a way to fix this? I've already tried resetting network. Turned the phone off and on. Nothing is working and now I have to run on just data.

Hi, Im using an iPhone 4 8gb and recently updated my software using my computer to iOS 6.1.3 and some of the tabs are now grayed out and cant function (specific reference to "Show My Caller ID - On/Off tab"). is there a way to fix this or can i downgrade back to my default software?

Thanks for your response, I forgot to add that the five 3uk sims we have in use, I have tried all of them none of them are recongnised non of them have pin codes, I even purchased four more sims Tmobile (original carrier) Vodaphone, 3 and giffgaff.
