I know that credits will allow you to purchas a song without charging your credit card or itunes acount (i think)
I dont have any store money left and i would like to purchas a song with my credit, but it keeps asking for my billing info.
Id there a way to use my credit without giving itunes my billing info??

Make sure you billing address is correct and select None under Credit Card.
It is verifying your iTunes address = your AppleID address.

If you mean use the balance of the credit and you don't have enough to buy iTunes media, you will have to purchase and redeem another gift card to make up the difference.

When in the ITunes Store to redeem a free song; I am prompted to sign in to redeem code. I proceed in to sign in and a reply message; my apple id has not yet been used with the ITunes store. Please review your account information, as I click to review, it sends me back to the Itunes store.

You can create a iTune and App Store account without credit card details
1. Sign out of current Apple ID
2. Go to App Store and select a free app
3. Tap INSTALL APP
4. Create New Apple ID
5. Confirm Your Country
6. Agree with Terms and Conditions
7. Fill in your Apple ID and Password (must be a valid email address)
8. Create and answer your secret question
9. Select NONE for Payment Method
10. Fill in Billing Address
11. Submit application for new Apple ID
12. Wait for verification email
13. When email arrive, verify your account
14. Start downloading your free apps

How do I use it to purchase songs etc?
Because when I've tried to buy a song it is asking me to confirm my payment details of my debit card but I do not want to use this, I want to use my gift card.

Order of iTunes billing methods
When making purchases, content credits are used first, followed by Gift Certificate, iTunes Card, or Allowance Account credits; your credit card or PayPal account is then charged for any remaining balance.
When you buy individual songs from the iTunes Store:
Free song credits are redeemed first.
If you have no free song credits, gift certificate, prepaid card, and allowance credits are used next.
If your gift certificate, prepaid card, and/or allowance credit is less than the total cost of the purchase, your credit card is billed for the remaining balance.
If you have no free song credits or gift certificates, prepaid cards, or allowance credits, your credit card is billed for the songs you buy.
When you buy an album on the iTunes Store:
Gift certificate, prepaid card, and allowance credits are used first.
If your gift certificate, prepaid card, or allowance credit is less than the total cost of the purchase, your credit card is billed for the remaining balance. Note: Free song credits cannot be used for album purchases.

It's something to do with the main user account (not iTunes account) on my Mac because I logged in with another account and it downloaded fine, I installed it on the HDD and even though the date in App Store was 16th October 2014, it is the full installer of 10.10.2.
To try to resolve this problem, I have copied the installer app elsewhere and deleted it but App Store still will not allow me to download it with my main user account yet just allowed me to update iTunes.
I had a brainwave last night that it might have been related to me changing the default downloads folder to one not on my boot drive (to save disk space on my main boot drive) but having changed it back, tried again, rebooted and tried yet again, deleted my App Store preferences. nothing has worked.

I'm having trouble redeeming a free song list. After putting in the code and I'm prompted for my password to start the download. Then nothing happens and I am redirected back to the home screen. Any ideas?

Reapply the style to the second caption - it most likely has an override on it restarting the numbering at 1.

The only way to create an Apple ID & not have a payment method associated with the ID, is to follow the directions here:

With an existing ID, you either need a credit card or you need to redeem an iTunes gift card. So, in your case, either create a new ID, or associate a credit card with your existing ID, or redeem an iTunes gift card.

Credit is mixture of free songs and euros

Dear,
In my credit list I dispose of 11 free songs and some money.
Now when I select to buy a certain album of 12 songs, only 9,99 euro needs to be paid (instead of 12x 0,99 euro).
When I would only have money as a credit, there would be no problem to have this advantage. But those 11 free songs are in my way (maybe because their expiration date is before the money expiration date?). I'm also afraid that the extra song on the album ('album only') won't be downloaded for free... as this is the 12th song
Why doesn't iTunes choose in my advantage, and takes away e.g. 9 songs in this case and make me download the whole album??

First, don't use Full screen mode or Mirror. Just drag the architectual print off the right side of the MBair monitor and it will appear on the external.
You can make adjustments in System Preferences > Displays > Arrangement tab

Sorry, but there's no way to force the iTunes Store to use your credit card. If there's a credit balance available, purchases will be deducted from that first.

They are ios apps, sorry for not specifying. I just went to my iPad, then iTunes and they show up there. Under the apps it says "install' But when I do that it says the app requires ios 6.0 or later and only have 5.1.1. When I read the requrements on the app on the iTunes store on the computer it said it only required 3.1.
