I register yesterday, I should have 30 day trial for Acrobat XI, and shows already expired!

Estoy leyendo los mensajes disponibles y todos se parecen a mi problema, pero no me aportan una solución.
La versión de 30 días de pruebas de mi ordenador caducó la semana pasada. Ayer pagué una suscripción mes a mes (24 euros, aproximadamente), he accedido con mi identificación y mi contraseña, me he descargado el programa y al abrirlo me da error, ni siquiera se abre. Mi ordenador cumple las especificaciones que exige el programa (la suscripción), y sin embargo sigue apareciendo la dichosa ventana que indica que la versión de prueba ha caducado, me pide que me identifique y que compre una suscripción.
Estoy muy molesta porque el servicio es nefasto, me parece una tomadura de pelo. Las indicaciones que se dan para instalar y desinstalar los programas son insuficientes y debería haber por lo menos una línea telefónica para la resolución de problemas de este tipo. Ahora me encuentro sujeta a seguir pagando las mensualidades porque, si dejo de hacerlo, me las cobrarán de todas maneras y lo peor, todas juntas.

Ok, Tom, I completed the first three steps and everything went fine. However, I still don't have a timeline, AND above is a screenprint of my timeline and what I presume is meant by the PROJECT. There is no project. Now, I can go up to the Event window and Export XML, but it doesn't give me a usable file. So, first, am I correct re: terminology - the timeline/bottom section is also known as the project folder/manager??
I've been reading other users strings as well and have tried their tricks as well. For instance, Eric Martin re: his deleting preference files (6/6), and Norman Jayo's (4/25) lengthy discourse with the "here is the work around" w/ 7 steps. Again, he mentions closing the PROJECT that is corrupted. I'm not sure that mine is corrupt as I can play and see my 15-minute audio/view in the view module (upper right).

Your photos remain in place, the catalog you have been using will remain. After you install Lightroom from the CC, all you have to do is open your existing catalog and continue right where you left off.

You need OS X 10.7.5 or later. Most likely you can upgrade OS X on your iMac. You already have 10.6.8 and access to the App Store. If your computer qualifies to run Mavericks, then that is what you would upgrade to, otherwise, you would upgrade to Lion.
Upgrading to Lion
If your computer does not meet the requirements to install Mavericks, it may still meet the requirements to install Lion.
You can purchase Lion at the Online Apple Store. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax. It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Save a copy of that installer to your Downloads folder because the installer deletes itself at the end of the installation.

When I use find file http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/30073/find-file (which does tend to find files that "Finder" can't), it's not coming up with any other itunes library files that have been modified in the past week, which I know it would have been - unfortunately, I don't have a very recent backup of the hard drive. It would be a few months old so it wouldn't have the complete library on it....any ideas? I'm wondering if restarting the computer might help but have been afraid to do so in case it would make it harder to recover anything...I was looking at this thread https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4211589?start=0&tstart=0 in the hopes that it might have a helpful suggestion but it's definitely a different scenario.

I had a year long CC membership that expired at the beginning of the October.
After realizing that, I attempted to start a free trial of photoshop to work on a project. My Adobe account states that i'm on a trial, but my (Mac) dashboard CC app won't allow me to start the program. I have reinstalled both Creative Cloud and Photoshop CC but still get this message.

I just feedbacked this to Apple:
I have thought about this a long time, and I cannot understand why this in't implemented in the iPhone App store yet.
All apps should have a free trial period for a period of time (eg 3 days).
- This way you may try out an app that you are interested in.
- The developer doesn't need to create "light" applications.
- All ratings will belong to *the* app, not a light app + the real app.
This should of course be approved by the developer that may by various reasons don't allow a free trial. But the default should be true.
And the developer should also declare the trial time, maybe down to hours.
I think this would have a great impact on the sell!
At least for me, I don't want to spend money on something that I'm not sure about, and I think there are many people that thinks the same way.
Please consider this.

It really doesn't matter what we think, because we're all users here and we don't effect policy.
What you're asking here is tantamount to polling, which is prohibited by the Terms of Use (link to it at the bottom of the page) of this forum, because it serves as no help to other users on this forum seeking legitimate assistance with a technical support question.

The only way to get a serial number is to buy one... which is not supposed to be needed for a 30 day trial

I have LR5 trial and just signed for CC with PS/LR - CC app says LR is up to date but LR still wants a licence key. Cannot seem to download LR as CC downloader not working

With the introduction of Lightroom in the PS CC package, there are two licensing processes. The original perpetual license which is input manually and the CC copy which gets input automatically by the CC App Manager. If you still have a original perpetual license version or trial installed you just need to uninstall it, the uninstall will not affect your preferences, catalog or user files. Then shut down your system and reboot, open the CC app manager and you should have Lightroom available to download.

You downloaded the creative cloud update by mistake. It will be necessary for you to uninstall Lightroom and then install using a download from this website:

This will not do anything to your catalog for your images. So after you install the appropriate version you should be able to start right where you left off.
