I just Replaced the screen in a iphone 4s for bluegrass cellular but now the screen just shows black?
so i have a white iphone 4s i put a new screen in it but now the backlight comes on but its just a black screen any ideas what happened?
Why in the world would you even attempt that? You could have had the entire phone replaced for $199 and maintained the balance of the warranty? Now, your only option is to pay full price for a new one.

it is quite normal for the keyboard's power light not to stay on - it is a way of conserving battery power.
Try this:
turn you keyboard off
on your iPad go to Settings > Bluetooth
if your keyboard is listed under Devices, then touch the little blue i to its right and choose Forget this Device
now reset your iPad: hold both the Home and Power buttons down for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears, let go promptly when the Apple logo appears and wait another 30 seconds for your iPad to turn itself on
After your iPad is back on again go back to Settings > Bluetooth
now turn your keyboard back on and see if it appeard under Now Discoverable
if it doesn't read your keyboard guide to figure out how to put it into Discovery mode
touch the listing for your keyboard under Now Discoverable, it should now appear under Devices
touch the listing for you keyboard under Devices, and choose to pair with it. -
I bought the app Atari greatest hits package for $9.99 and now the app will not even open... Every time I try to open it it closes on its own...any suggestions?
Try deleting it and reinstalling it.
you can also try giving your iPad a reset. Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds or so until it reboots and see if that helps. -

I have Adobe X on a Windows 7 HP laptop. I was printing .pdf files for a short while, but now the screen goes black and nothing happens. I also have tried printing bank statements with the same black screen/no printing results. Anyone have similar experiences? Do you know of a fix?
Adobe X. Unless you have another idea, I am going to try the 10.0.2 fix and see if that works. If not, I may uninstall and try a 9.xxx version. Thanks.

I updated my iPhone 4S to iOS 6, but now the Wi-Fi seems to be disabled.
I tried connecting to my Wi-Fi network, but instead of getting connected, I'm taken to a page that says, "Log in" and it shows the apple website. On that website, it says, "Hmm, we cannot find the page you are looking for." It's frustrating and I would like to know: is this happening to anyone else? Why is it happening? Will it be on going? P.S: It also says something about a hotspot...? I don't know why.I can't tell you WHY this worked but I'll share just in case...
I had the same problem. No sound, the volume control buttons did nothing. The sound icon would appear but no bars indicating the sound level.
My phone was NOT on mute, but I flicked the mute button anyway.
I don't know why or how, but that made the sound come back and the volume control buttons start working again.
(Just before this, I realized all my texts were gone - they came back with a reset but still!) -
I am unable to "single space" a document in Wordpad now that I have a new emachine with windows 7 preinstalled. I used Wordpad when I had Windows XP OS and loved it,however in the menu of Wordpad 7 at the top of the app it shows what to click to single space your document, but it does not work. I researched the problem with different sources, and all said they were experiencing the same issue. I liked Wordpad program in Xp to just type simple documents and letters, but I cannot use single space in Window 7.
Does anyone know how to address this issue. I just want a simple program that is easy to understand.

I have tried the above fix and iTunes crashes giving error 27 after trying to load the iPhone firmware.
I have booted my phone in DFU mode and this has made no difference.
My mac is up to date.
My iTunes is up to date.
All i tried to do was update my ios as i have been unable to make calls or send text's all day.
Do you have any other suggestions as my phone is no good to me now.

You're welcome.
First check to be sure the new phone is running the same or higher version of iOS as the one you backed up (Settings>General>About>Version). If it isn't, you'll need to update the iOS first. Then go to Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Settings, go through the setup screens on the phone and when given the options, choose Restore from iCloud backup and follow the prompts, choosing the backup of your personal phone to restore to.
Be sure the phone is connected to wifi and your charger while it is restoring the backup. -

I just tried deleteing every smart mailbox and re-constituting a few. This went OK until I made one that had to reference a Gmail IMAP 'folder' and as soon I did that ... BAM! ... the infinite spinner appears.

Recently the sound on my Iphone 4 for texts, and email alerts started working intermittently. I have upgraded to the latest software and the Apple store even replaced the phone but safe issues
For each mail account, along with designating a primary SMTP server, you should be able to just turn off any and all other SMTP servers you have listed. In that case, if there is a problem with comcast, the message send should just fail.
Also make sure your comcast smtp settings are correct (port, likely 587 but might be something else for comcast, whether you should be suing SSL or not, do you need authentication or not).

Batch create multiple files in a script
