I connected my apple tv with hdmi cables and I'm not not getting any sound. Not sure what I'm doing Wrong.
Did you connect it to the tv direct or through a receiver? If a receiver, you will need it on and switched under the connection.

Just set up my Apple TV and question on accessing content.
So I just set up my Apple TV, and on the homescreen there are very few things being displayed. How would I go about accessing things like Hulu Plus? There is no icon for it, and I don't know where to go in order to have it be displayed..
If the AppleTV is new you will need to update it to get the icons for HuluPlus, HBO Go, etc.
Be careful with updating right now there are problems with the current udpdate. Read some of the coomments from people that have had issues.
Go to the settings>general>about. The current version is 6.0 -

Check your audio out and Dolby digital settings, try restarting the Apple TV by removing all the cables for 30 seconds.

I have an original Ipad, I tired to update it, but during the update it gave me an error message (1602) an now it just has a picture of itunes and a ubs cord? Please help!!
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. -

Just set up Apple TV on home network. Works fine for NetFlix but we can't stream I Tune libruary or digital photos thru it to our home TV as because of my wife's work we bypass COX and access the internet thru a VPN offered by her employer. Was told we either have to buy a second computer (two expensive for just these two functions) or keep turning on and off the VPN(not practical). Any other ideas? Thanks
Does she need to access the internet through her employer, or is she just trying to access her internal network at work?
If it's the latter, split-stream VPN clients (like Cisco AnyConnect) will split traffic so that only that directed at a particlar domain gets tunneled.
I have an AnyConnect client at home, but I normally only activate it when I'm using it, so I've never tested it with HomeSharing. I'm currently traveling, but when I get home tomorrow, I'll try it out and let you know if it works. If it does, your wife can check with her employer to see if she can configure AnyConnect to work with them. -
i am having trouble using apps with my apple id and password? it is saying it is not correct but the one I used is how I got to this site and activated my phone? Why is it not letting me log on to apps with ID and password?

Music app has disappeared and i have tried everything please help
My music app is completely gone and i have no idea where it has gone. i have tried restarting,resetting,and other tricks but non have worked if u have an answer for me, i would really appreciate it.
Have you done a spotlight search? Swipe down from the middle of the screen with two fingers, and type Music in the spotlight search. You should see the Music icon display in the list. See if it is in a folder (if it is the folder name will be listed next to the icon). If it is not in a folder, but displays, see if you can find it on any of your Home screens.
If you still cannot find it go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. This will reset your Home screens and the original Apple core apps will show up on the first Home Screen (including Music).

Yahoo email account and battery have issue. Please help
Battery and Yahoo's EmailI account have issue after updated iOS 8.1.1 for my iPhone 5 today. I can not add new email's account on yahoo, also can not delete mail, update mail, and the mail I deleted on yahoo's mail keep going back to inbox after I refreshed. Battery drains out petty fast than privious iOS 8.1. Please help...
Anyway can I load back iOS 8.1?I Have the same problem.
"yahoo.com.au" mail no longer works on the iOS mail app on my iPhone or iPad after upgrading to 8.2.1.. All the inxox mail is missing but some of the other folders are there.
Bit the mail app still works on "yahoo.com" accounts. It is the ".au" that is causing the problem.
Deleting the mail accounts and reinstalling does not fix it.
It is killing the battery life so I had to delete the mail account -

During the creation of my apple account I have selected two questions and written the answers. Now to purchase gems for the game I have started the steps. It is calling those answers and I have forgotten. Please help to come out of these security questions.
The page that you posted from tells you how to reset them i.e. if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then steps 1 to 5 half-way down that page should let you reset them.
If you don't have a rescue email address then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.
