I just set up my computer and go to boot it and all iget is dark screen..no bios

Amd sempron 2800+ socket 654 processor
Ati radeon 9550 agp
512 mb ddr 400/333 memory
12v power supply 350w
....any other info missing let me know
i set it all up and i connected monitor.. i turn on the pc and nothing appears but a black screen...ran out of ideas any suggestions would be helpful

re-seat CPU, ensure no dust in CPU socket, and apply new thermal paste.
try barabone setup, re-test, if no go take mobo out of case and re-test, if no go try with different and better PSU. if no go test CPU to other machine(with 754mobo) to ensure CPU status is OK. let we know how its going.

Your past purchases are not on the computer. By choosing download all, those purchases will download to the computer.
Once authorized to your iTunes account you can control the computer.
When syncing the iPad the first time you will get the warning " this iPad is synced with another computer, syncing will erase all contents and replace with the contents of this computer"

There is no de-authorize process for Lightroom. Just download the latest version and use your License key to authorize on the new computer.

the disc is spinning and I see the apple on the screen with the spinning gear and after a while it just turns off OR the few times it does get past that point when I go into disc utility it tells me that it can not install on this machine!
It's driving me crazy, please help!!!

I'm not entirely sure I follow you here, home sharing comes with iTunes 10.2, so far as I am aware even iTunes 10.6.1 only requires OS X 10.5.8 or better. On that basis I'm not sure why you think you have a problem.

After drying for a month and it's still not working, it's almost certainly suffered hardware damage and will need to be replaced. You can learn what Apple will charge to replace it here:

I just reinstalled my entire computer system (Windows Vista 32 bit) and for some reason, iTunes will not download onto my computer. I get the 'Thank You' page but nothing happens.

My firewall is just the same as always even BEFORE I had this problem. My Norton antivirus isn't blocking it and I've tried downloading earlier versions with the same problem.

Perhaps try downloading and saving a copy of the installer to a different PC. (If you're on a 32-bit Windows system, try to download on a different 32-bit Windows system.) Copy the iTunesSetup.exe installer to an external hard-drive, or a large-enough thumb drive or burn it to a CD-R. Carry the installer back to your PC, copy the installer to your hard drive. (Don't run the install from the ExHD, thumb or CD-R.) Start the install by doubleclicking the iTunesSetup.exe file.

If you used the same Apple ID as previously then you are using the same iCloud account.

You thought completely wrong.
Your music will ONLY be where you put it. You purchase ONE download only. Just as when you buy a cd from the store, you have to move/copy it wherever you want it. Your music will not magically appear anywhere.
You need to copy your music from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer to the new one.

iCloud doesn't sync you music library unless you subscribe to iTunes Match. If you're talking about the ability to download music purchased from the iTunes store, that can be done as discussed here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519. (This doesn't require an iCloud account. The music is redownloaded from the iTunes store, not your personal iCloud account.)

IPad crash and won't boot up and won't charge

first gen IPad today when I was reading went to black ... I thought it had timed out, but it wouldn't open back up. It wouldn't restart - I tried to even power off but nothing at all shows up on the screen.
I don't think the battery was low
but I hooked it up to the charger but nothing shows again - I can't tell if iti s charging. I checked the charge on my iPhone and it works, so it is somethig with the ipad.

Try this first and see if it will boot up.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Reset Password
Start the computer,then press and hold down command and R keys to start into recovery partition.
When you see the Apple logo, release the keys.
Wait until OS X Utilities window shows up.
Move the mouse pointer to the menubar at the top and click "Utilities", then select "Terminal"
from the drop down.
Terminal window will appear.
Type in resetpassword and press enter on the keyboard.
Leave the Terminal window open.
Reset Password Utility window will open with Macintosh HD selected.
Select the user account from the popup menu box under “Select user account”.
Enter a new password.
Reenter the new password for the user.

If we have 3 iPhones, and use the same iTunes for all content, should we use 3 Apple IDs and authorize for all 3 or just use 1 ID?

I want to enable us to share all apps, music, videos and photos, but enable each phone to keep its contacts and history separate. If I use 1 ID, all new purchases will go on the same credit card, which I'm not sure is ideal, but not horrible. Since we use the same computer and iTunes using only 1 appleID, and the phones are new to the equation since it was only iPods before, what is the best way to handle a family with 3 phones that can share all entertainment content, but not all phone-related stuff? I saw that you can use one AppleID for purchases, but another for iCloud. That may be the best solution, but I don't know enough about this yet to move forward yet- migrating from Android...

My iPhone won't arrive for a little while, but my wife already got hers and she wants to set it up now. Using my Apple ID for the purchases, if she starts setting hers up, can she change her iCloud ID to something else quickly? It keeps telling us that we have to sign in with the AppleID first.
Should we just set up an iCloud account via normal internet before trying all this via iPhone?

I am often away from my computer for weeks at a time, digging at archaeology sites, before I return to clean, sort, and catalog my finds. And every time I launch my browser of choice, I have to sit through yet another Firefox update.

Sometime's it's a major update, like Firefox 3.6 for instance, but more often than not—too often—it's some stupid little tertiary update that requires Firefox to download, quit, root around on the hard drive, and restart with a whole damn brand-new binary. Why?!
Just once I'd like to sit down, boot up, and get to work instead of wading through this slow, irritating process that the Mozilla developers subject me to.
I've become envious of my friends who run Safari, Apple's home-grown browser, which is updated less frequently. If they want more frequent updates, they download and install WebKit, but can otherwise continue on day after day without interruption in Safari.
I like this model, as it lets busy people like me get more work done, so I am thinking of purchasing a Mac. Really, anything to get me away from the time-wasting wreck of a browser that Firefox has become is a good idea.
The Firefox model crashes and burns its users. Literally, too, when you think about all of its other addling bugs and design flaws that crash the browser and burn countless CPU cycles.
So until I can see the web in a whole new way with Safari on a new Mac, it'll be another day, another Firefox update.
