I just synced my 2 ipods but now my ipad does not show as connected when I try to sync it. Had no problem syncing before. Did troubleshooting but have not uninstalled itunes. Help!

You give very few details. If I stated that .......
"I started my Nissan today and it started fine - but my Chevrolet will not start today - but it started yesterday. Help!" - you would probably have no idea where to begin with doling out advice or troubleshooting steps. What troubleshooting did you do? Obviously not all of it - if you did not uninstall and reinstall iTunes.
Quit iTunes, reboot your PC and then try again.
If that does not work, you could post back with the OS that your actually running on your computer - I am assuming that you are a Windows user and I could be wrong, but without some help from you .... Well we are just beating our heads against the wall.

Does a little box come up seeing the iPad as a camera? That doesn't impact iTunes as much as it confirms that your computer sees the device. If your computer doesn't see it then iTunes doesn't know it's there.
If you're plugged into a hub or extender, try plugging it directly into the box or main part of your computer.
If you're using an extension, stop and just use the included sync cable.
Try using a different USB port.
After you installed iTunes, did you restart your computer?
Usually what's needed is the 'apple device driver' which installs automatically, you just need to sometimes trigger the install, using different ports helps with that.
If the simple trouble shooting doesn't help then you can search on the Apple Device Driver and there's more detailed trouble shooting on the site. -

I can confirm the problem you are hitting. The XML test trace does not get recognized at all, and it defaults to Eclipse's basic Open File behaviour. I am not sure if it's because the format definition is missing, or if it's because something prevents the trace type from being recognized. I will open a bug about it.

I have Windows 8.1 on my PC. Ever since downloading the latest version of i Tunes, it will not recognize any of my i Pods (3) and therefore am unable to sync any music from my i Tunes to the i Pods. I've tried all the obvious things like resarting the PC as well as the i Pods tried different patch cables but the i Tunes software will no longer recognize my i Pods. I have automatic sync selected, but I even tried to manually sync by clicking on devices under File but the sync icon is "grayed" out. When I look under Preferences and click on devices the serial numbers of my i Pods appear and are correct but again will not recognize the i Pod when plugged in to the PC. Bottom line I'm dead in the water....appreciate any suggestions....thanks

Itunes is not working on my mac. I'm trying to redeem a gift card and everytime I enter my password it does not work. Also, when I try and browse songs, everything is blankIt's been a while but it should work on a Mac because Macs can read Windows formatted devices. Otherwise, you can perform a restore operation to return it to the Mac format. If you go to support.apple.com/manuals/ you can find a copy of the user manual for the model you have in which this is all explained.

My Ipod was originally set up as a sub-account of a firends. After that, I got an Iphone and set up my own Apple account. I just got a new Ipod, and now can't sync my old Itunes to it. There is no such thing as a "sub-account." Also, you probably mean iTunes library, when you say "account." Your "account" in iTunes is your Apple ID, which is what you use to sign in to the iTunes Store to make purchases. iPods are associated with an iTunes library, not with an Apple ID (iTunes Store account). You'll need to clarify...
So, this is what I think you are saying. You previously shared an iTunes library on a computer with your friend. Your old iPod was synced to that iTunes library.
You got an iPhone, and at that time, you set up your own iTunes library. Is that on a different computer? How does the iPhone affect your question about the iPod?
You got a new iPod. What is your "old iTunes"? Is that the iTunes library you shared with your friend? -
I have songs in Itunes that at one time synced to my ipod. Now some do and some don't even if their box is checked. I also have the latest Itunes software.
I can still play them in Itunes but some won't sync to Ipod and I don't know why.Hey pooleking,

my ipod touch 8g 4th gen was stolen and jailbroken and when i got it back i tryed to unjailbreak it and update it but it wouldnt work so i deleted everything from cydia and now it turns on to the apple symbol and just flashes it on and off. wat do i do? HEEEELLLLP. please. my parents will go spastic at me if i tell them :'(

I do not believe that your parents will go "spastic" because your iPod was stolen. I'm thinking that you jailbroke it yourself. Am I correct? -

Are your calendars in your iCloud group and not in a on my mac group.
