I just tried to install iLife '11. I was informed that I was using an "invalid certificate" which had expired March 22, 2012. Where do I go from here?

iLife installation went fine, and I can see some useful changes in my iPhoto software. There is a small mystery however: despite the visible changes, the software still describes itself as v.8.1.2. Since I see no problem I am not going to go chasing one, but then I think you may see something I don't. Am I OK or is there something else I need to do?

Photoshop 4.0 is not compatible with MAC 10.9.3 . You will face issues as when Photoshop 4.0 was launched there was no MAC Mavericks and Adobe has not tested the version on new MAC OS.
If you want you can download the latest version of Photoshop CC 2014 and you can use it as a trial for 30 days and you can plan to switch to the latest version.

As a result of the Firefox5 update, I was informed that there was a conflict with my Google toolbar. Afther the update installed I lost the Google tool bar. I don't understand and would like to have the Google tool bar restored. Can you help me.?

I received a screen message that a Firefox5 update was available and was advised to install it. I did. As part of the installation process a message was posted indicating that the update was not compatible with my Google toolbar. I don't know why, because I have been using Google and Firefox compatibly for some time.

It is absolutely nuts that I updated to 5.0 and now I'm missing my Google Toolbar and most importantly SPELLCHECK! I never would have updated had I know of this problem. Talk about an essential tool. Come on Firefox! I'll be using another browser until you can get this problem fixed!

Will i be able to transfer my itunes library without consolidating the files?

I have found a temporary solution, allowing the previous version of iTunes (v. 11.1.3 (x64) in my case) to be re-installed. It will allow you to re-establish use of iTunes until the Apple software engineers fix the most recent disasterous upgrade (v. 11.1.4). I have a PowerPC G5 quad core Mac with a pre-intel chip. I have been running Firefox successfully for over five years and have used every version in operation during that time. Tonight, I received notice that the latest version of 3.6 was ready to install and that I needed to restart. I did that and was taken to a page telling me that 4.0 was available for downloading and use. So I downloaded the new 4.0 and tried to install it in the typical Mac fashion. After clicking on the dmg, I dragged the icon into my applications folder and onto the dock. But when I click on the icon on the dock, I get the message: The application cannot be launched. 10661
When I try to launch by double clicking in the applications folder, I get the message: You cannot open the application Firefox because it is not supported on this system.
I had to go to your site using Safari of all things! I tried re-installing it with another download, and that one misbehaves in the same way. By the way, in case it matters, I still have 42 GB available on my hard drive and 5 GB of RAM.
There is one other funny thing. The Firefox icon from the disk image has a white circle with the slash through it on top of the fox and world symbol. That is what appears in my applications folder and in my dock. It appears to be saying NOT FIREFOX, as it would indicate in a NO U-TURN sign. What is this all about?

I have had a similar problem with my system. I just recently (within a week of this post) built a brand new desktop. I installed Windows 7 64-bit Home and had a clean install, no problems. Using IE downloaded an anti-virus program, and then, because it was the latest version, downloaded and installed Firefox 4.0. As I began to search the internet for other programs to install after about maybe 10-15 minutes my computer crashes. Blank screen (yet monitor was still receiving a signal from computer) and completely frozen (couldn't even change the caps and num lock on keyboard). I thought I perhaps forgot to reboot after an update so I did a manual reboot and it started up fine.
When ever I got on the internet (still using firefox) it would crash after anywhere between 5-15 minutes. Since I've had good experience with FF in the past I thought it must be either the drivers or a hardware problem. So in-between crashes I updated all the drivers. Still had the same problem. Took the computer to a friend who knows more about computers than I do, made sure all the drivers were updated, same problem. We thought that it might be a hardware problem (bad video card, chipset, overheating issues, etc.), but after my friend played around with my computer for a day he found that when he didn't start FF at all it worked fine, even after watching a movie, or going through a playlist on Youtube.
At the time of this posting I'm going to try to uninstall FF 4.0 and download and install FF 3.6.16 which is currently on my laptop and works like a dream. Hopefully that will do the trick, because I love using FF and would hate to have to switch to another browser. Hopefully Mozilla will work out the kinks with FF 4 so I can continue to use it.
I apologize for the lengthy post. Any feedback would be appreciated, but is not necessary. I will try and post back after I try FF 3.16.6.

I already had Anthill Free installed so deleted it in case it was interferring with the new download. I can install other free apps but now can't even install Anthill Free. I have tried the 7 resolution steps advised by Apple and have totally run out of ideas as to what I can try next. Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
and paste into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.
