I just update iTunes today and it deleted all of my music.

iTunes completely cleared my library except for a few random albums when I used to have thousands of songs. Thankfully I still have them in a folder on my computer but when I try to drag and drop all of my songs onto the library, it shows a circle with a diagonal bar across, meaning I can't do that. Now I have no idea what to do and am really ****** at iTunes.
