I just updated Firefox Went to plugin check Only get circle going round & round for 30min+ Help!

Been trying to update/install Flash for months w/ no luck after reinstalling and then even reinstalling an older version that works for my friend. My old version worked fine until I updated Firefox. Bee trying everything on support sites and calling Adobe. Finally resigned myself to install and use Google Chrome ..Yuck Wanted to try Flash again after updating Firefox. As noted above this is what is happening. I have XP pac3 and 109 GB of free space so it should work. Any ideas?
PS I don't seem to have Shockwave Flash 14.0 I think it is 11.7 . My computer was saying I had 14.0 but it never ran/worked I don't have McAfee and don't think I have Netscape

hello flashfighter, please try the following: go to the firefox menu ≡ > addons > plugins, set the "java deployment toolkit" to never activate and then try to use the plugincheck page again...

Why is it taking so long to see my purchases when using ituens on my ipad 3? It just sits there with a circle going round for ages.

using the ituens icon on my ipad I am trying to see what I have purchased and maybe download a film or album from my purchased items to watch or listen to again. The circle just sits there going round all the time regardless of what router I'm plugged up to on wifi.
Its like something is running really slowly. I can go to stroe and apps store ok. its just the purchases screen is taking for ever.
I can't be the only one with this problem and I certainly don't have a huge library by any standards.
Anyone had this problem or have a solution?

I have this same exact issue, however only with music. It happens when files are added in anyway: dragged, automatically added, opened from safari.
I have Mountain Lion, a new MacBook Pro with Retina, and iTunes Match turned on. I have a feeling iTunes is trying to match/upload the songs first. I've just added 10 songs, iTunes said they were copied over but they don't show up in my library but I can see the cloud icon "working".
EDIT: That's not the reason, the songs finally showed up but they are still waiting to be matched.

Just updated Firefox and got message from Firefox to update Flash, too. I downloaded flash, but it repeatedly failed to install, even after I followed recommendations on Adobe's troubleshooting page. Adobe's support person said he'd gotten lots of calls from Firefox users with the same problem in recent days. He said Firefox was unresponsive. He recommended Google Chrome browser instead. I don't want to switch. Please Advise.

They've all been moved the orange Firefox tab in top left corner of the browser.

There are extensions that work both for the mouse and the keyboard to set the scroll amount, but they can only be set to scroll an amount of pixels and not to scroll one line regardless of font-size (height) of the text.

Why does the "hooray you've just updated firefox tab open along with my home page tab everytime I sign into firefox since the update?

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the sessionstore.js [2] file and possible sessionstore-##.js [3] files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).

I've reread your question several times and am not sure I understand it.
Are you trying to basically start over, as if you just took your iPhone out of the box? If so, do:
Settings > General > Reset > Erase all content and settings

This worked for me:
1 Go to the finder menu bar at the top of the screen
2Click go
3 click applications
4 go down to iTunes and right click on Show Package Contents
5 open contents folder then go to mac os folder
6 open the terminal marked iTunes in that folder
This should force it to open and function enough, it will not allow importing of music from a desk top
