I just updated my 5s to 7.0.5 but it wouldn't turn back on.
Just updated my 5s to 7.0.5 but it's not turning on until now. It's been 3 hours since I updated it. I tried to connect it to my laptop but it's not doing anything except from I'm hearing the sounds as if it's connecting and disconnecting from the computer when I hold the power button and home button at the same time.
Im having the same problem. Almost an hour now since updating and nothing. Cannot turn it on and it wont connect to my computer either.

Place iPhone on Wall Charger for at least 10 minutes. Hold both Home and Power buttons, after exactly 10 seconds release the Power Button, keep holding the Home button until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode, usually about 20 seconds time. If the iPhone screen is black, blank this is DFU Mode. Click the Restore button of iTunes. DFU Mode can be difficult to enter sometimes, just keep trying. DFU Mode is a black, blank screen with iTunes saying Recovery Mode. If still problem and there is Warranty or AppleCare make Genius reservation and take to Apple for resolution.

I just updated my mom's Iphone 4, and now it won't turn on. When it does, there is a "itunes" icon, with the cord picture, which is asking me to connect to Itunes, I believe. Can't get past this screen to even turn it on. What do I do without having to restore her entire phone, which I have no idea how to do that?
You need to restore using the recovery mode described in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212 and may need to do that more than once to succeed.

Did you buy your phone unlocked from Apple or did you have the original carrier unlock it? Or did you have some third party unlock it for you? If the latter, and you are trying to set the phone up with a different carrier than the original, you're going to have problems as the update most likely reversed the unauthorized unlock.

I just updated my Firefox version to 3.6, but I can't find any detials in My Bookmarks now? They are not in the Favorites folder which is in the local drive either.

Thank you for the question. Are you seeing the previous Apple ID in the iTunes and App Store? If you are, use these steps to sign in with your new Apple ID:
Sign in with a different Apple ID
Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores.
Tap your Apple ID.
If you see the option to Sign In, you can change your Apple ID now.
Tap Sign Out.
Enter your Apple ID and Password and tap Sign In.
Or if you don't have another Apple ID, tap Create New Apple ID.

If you trying to change the Apple ID signed into iCloud, use these steps:
On your iOS device’s Home screen, go to Settings > iCloud, then at the bottom of the screen, tap Delete Account.

So i just updated my iPhone 5 to ios 7 and i can't turn on the location services...a press on the button wich turns on the location services but nothing happens and it doesn't apear green like all others softwere buttons.
General> Reset< Reset All Settings will work! Be careful not to erase! and you will have to redo all of your settings. Everything, ringers, even wifi will be lost! Big pain!!! I still dont have everything like I used to after the reset, but location services can be enabled again.

I dropped my iPhone and i tried to turn it on but it only comes on at curtain times. And it turns back off when I drop it just a little bit. Sometimes it takes like three days to turn back on. How do I get it to work regularly again?? Please help!!!
Seems like there is some physical damage causing an intermittent issue of the iPhone being unable to power on.
You could try a reset:
- hold the home button and sleep/wake button down at the same time
- the iphone will turn off(keep holding) then when the Apple logo appears release both buttons
If the reset fails I would suggest next time it powers on to try and back it up to either iTunes/iCloud then you can try a restore to factory settings or just back up and book an appointment at an Apple Store to have the iPhone evaluated.

I received a notice to update my "inpirational brwoser" for Elements 9, but it wouldn't install after the download. I follwed the instructions to remove the old file to the trash and install the new one, but got an error message(#2038) saying it would not install and to contact the author of the program. Could find nowhere to that, and wound up here.
What's wrong...with the program or what I did?Can't answer this specifically for elements, but failing updates are usually caused by blocked installer databases or version conflicts with other Adobe products. You should uninstall everything and start from scratch, then do any updates in order of priority, i.e. update your older Elements version first before updating Flash/ AIR/ ADobe Reader or whatever else you may be using additionally and whose newer components might confuse the updater.

I turned off firefox update but it is getting turned back on and telling me firefox 5.0 is available. I don't want firefox 5.0 until all my plugins work and I don't want to be bothered. I will followup in a few months on update. I use Ccleaner to delete tracks/history/cookies/passwords/site pref and to compress FF DB.
