I just updated my firefox today and now when I click on my popups or additional windows they pop up full screen. They used to pop up much smaller how do I change my settings so that these pop ups will be smaller?
This happens when I click on my links they pop up as the full screen not the size they used to show up. I have tried other browsers and the pop ups have not changed in size like Firefox. I will be more than happy to provide screen shots to fully demonstrate my concern.
I believe this is more about the default settings of the pop-ups. I have tried the 3 methods above and they have not solved my issue.
As I have stated before this issue is not happening with other web browsers.
Mozilla is better compatible with the program I am running.
It seems you know your way around Mozilla so pleas help.
P.S. I have taken screen shots and attached them to a word doc so I could best illustrate my issue with commentary and arrows but it will not save to my post. I have even tried posting it as a PDF.

I did the update to Firefox today. I am able to log into Comcast, but am having trouble with staying logged in. I go to the home page, it tells me I am not logged in, so I go to the log in page, log in, and it takes me back to the home page showing that I am logged in. When I try to go access my email, instead of taking me to that page, it just takes me back to the log in page. It also does this when I navigate anywhere else on the site. Help!
This can be caused by corrupted cookies.

Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.

I have just up dated firefox and it is running unstable when there is any action on the page the whole window not the screen flashes black and white. this is the only program that this happens for and the only version of firefox it has happened for. and now when I remove firefox 4 and attempt to install a early version that version wont run

Above question covers it. I've tried reinstalling Firefox, clearing cache, history, etc. but still happens. I've created app tabs and when I restart Firefox, they are gone. Running Windows XP.
It is probably because you are not properly closing Firefox. Restarting your system would make sure that Firefox had terminated, but you do not have to do that.
To properly close Firefox on Windows systems, use
:File > Exit or "Firefox:" button > Exit
When you get the message "Firefox is already running" it is too late, and you must force termination of Firefox through the Windows Task Manager before restarting Firefox. Windows 7 has a keyboard shortcut to save you a step "Ctrl+Shift+Esc" then on "Processes" tab, select "firefox.exe" and use the "End Process" button. More thorough would be to right-click on the "firefox.exec" and choose "End Process Tree".
You would find firefox.exe in a Mozilla folder in your program files, but y0u would not want to delete it there, you would need to use the Control Panel which you have already identified and do it from there -- but generally you would not need to do that, and there is nothing in what you have posted to indicate that you should. But if you did do that, then don't let the install start Firefox for you as you would want to use you existing desktop icon or method of starting Firefox, and should decline having Firefox install start Firefox for you. When the install starts then invoke Firefox in your normal manner. This should eliminate problems of creating a new profile rather than using your old profile. -
Since I installed the 8.0 Firefox version earlier today I have been unable to get to new Web pages by typing in their URLs. If I click on a link in a tab which was open before the install ( and was called up by Restore Session after I installed the new version) - say in one of my email messages in the Hotmail tab or a tab with another Web page showing - all is well and I go to the new page. Same if I click on the Back arrow: I can go back and forward to pages which have already been opened in the prior session.
However, if I type a URL to a new site into the address/location bar, OR open a new tab and enter a URL there ... when I press the Enter key NOTHING AT ALL happens. Same thing if I click on the Go to new address arrow that appears at the right side of the location bar - nothing. This has happened over and over.
What is going on? If I use IE, everything works just fine, so it must be something in Firefox. Do I need to just go back the the previous version of Firefox which I had before this latest update? As it is now, I can't go to any pages I haven't looked at in my restored session, which is not only frustrating but makes Firefox pretty useless for future use. I am trying to update a 4s. The update did not work for some reason. Now I need to restore the iPhone. When I connect the usb to the computer and phone it says I need to restore. So, I click to restore. It starts extracting the software. But I am continually getting the same error message that it cannot complete for unknown error. I have been working on this for 5 and a half hours. I'm tired, mu husband needs his phone and apple support is a joke and of course I can't find any answers anywhere. Please help!

I just updated to Itunes 10 and now when I drag a podcast to play on my 3rd Generation Ipod Shuffle, the podcasts won't play as as part of the music list. I know you must add the podcasts manually by dragging them and dropping. I did do that. I know that you can only use the Ipod in order not random. So, it must be a problem with the new software?

I just updated to Mountain Lion and now I notice on the side bar under "shared" an icon of a computer. It states that it is a memory card. What is this? I can't seem to open it. FYI: my wifi router is password protected. Thank you!

I downloaded mozilla firefox today and now I get the error 0x80070002 all the time, and I cannot use system restore because of it. How do I fix that so that my computer works right again. Please also check the downloaded file by right-clicking > Properties > Digital Signatures, which should say '''Mozilla Corporation''' and '''This digital signature is ok''' in '''Details'''. You can download Firefox from a known site like e.g. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
You can try to Reset Firefox which would hopefully display the missing features, all (contacts, emails, settings etc.) of which are actually stored at the MSN site and are temporarily displayed by Firefox every time the site is accessed.
The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.
Note: ''This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.''
To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
#Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
#Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
#Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Error 23, 28, 29: These errors may indicate a hardware issue with your device. Follow the steps in this article. Also attempt to restore while connected with the white USB Dock Connector cable that shipped with your device, on a known good computer and network to isolate this issue to the device. The MAC address being missing or the IMEI being the default value, (00 499901 064000 0), can also confirm a hardware issue. Out-of-date or incorrectly configured security software can also cause these errors.

Assuming Allan's advice is not correct, and you do run the installer, I think I've heard of that problem and it involves removing the old Flash plug-ins, then install the new version. I don't use it so I don't know what they are called, but will be the /Library/Internet Plug-ins folder.
You can go here and enable HTML5 in YouTube so you don't have to use Flash: http://www.youtube.com/html5
Most(?) of the content is HTML5, but you may run into videos where you still need Flash.
