I just updated my ipod and now im stuck on the screen that has the itunes sign on it what do I do

I downloaded the new update but im stuck on this screen that has the ipod charger pointing to the itunes icon i dont know what to do

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Try update using iTune (Check for Update; see bottom right)

Uhless this program will get the iPod out of recovery mode you will have to restore via iTunes.

TS1717 was updating my phone and now is frozen with the iTunes and an emblem of a usb cable wants me to restore my phone. last time i hit restore it cleared my phone to original settings and lost my address book.

Because that app is no longer included in the iOS. You have to go to the App store and purchase the free YouTube app.

- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers

Try reseting your device.
Hold the power button and the home button down until the device shuts off, then power it back on and see if the problem is resolved.
