I just upgraded to a 4th generation ipod touch. How do I get all of my stuff from my 2nd generation ipod touch to my new one?
I have already tried to do a back up on my second generation iPod, but for some reason it wouldn't sync to my new iPod because it wasn't compatible. I literally want to take everything from my old iPod (the contacts, photos, notes, everything) and put it on my new one.
It sounds like both iPods need to be running the same version of iOS. If it's possible to upgrade both to iOS 6 then do that and try again.
If not, just back up your older iPod to iTunes, so that all your music, apps, etc. are in the iTunes library and then move them manually to your new iPod once connected. It will take longer but it's better than nothing.

I recently got a new computer and it wont sync with my ipod. How can i get my music and stuff on my computer?
iPods and other iDevices are not backup or storage devices.
Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder (and all other desired data) from the old computer to the new computer. -
How do I get all the songs from an album to show in the album view? Currently, if an album lists the artist plus a guest artist, those are shown separately and appear to be two different albums on my iPod. How do I get all the songs on that album together on my iPod? If the album is a collaboration wtih many artists, each sond may appear as a separate album.
I used to have this problem.
First, you need to go back on iTunes
you need to go to each of the songs that are having this problem
Click the album so all the songs drop down
Right click the songs that have this problem
Click ' Get info '
Click the tab that says " info '
The box that says ' album artist ' should probably be empty (correct me if I'm wrong)
Click it and type the artist of the entire album, NOT the songs guest artist
as such,
ARTIST
JAY-Z Feat. Justin Timberlake
ALBUM ARTIST
JAY-Z
These should be separate for each artist
If you write the same album artists for each song by that artist, all the songs should be on 1 album -
I bought a HD TV show accidently instead of SD, it will not load or play on my ipod classic. How do i get this reformatted or what to get the show on my ipod?
To prevent HD versions from being downloaded in the future head to the iTunes Store, click the Purchased link, and then select TV Shows and remove the tick mark next to Download HD when available. You should be able to download the SD version now from under this same page.

Help :)
The music you acquired from your friends is not yours to keep. If you want that music, you should buy it. To do otherwise is commonly known as stealing.
Although it's a grey area, if your brother lives in the same house as you, that music you can keep. If the music is on your brother's computer, use an external hadrd drive to copy the music to your computer, import it into iTunes and then put it on your iPod.
For the musc that you have actually paid for, it should already be on your computer or in a back up copy that you have previously made. If not, then songs purchased from the iTunes Store can probably be downloaded again, just go to your account in the store. Other MP3 retailers usually let you re-download the music. For any CDs that you used, simply use the CD to copy them into your iTunes Library gain. -
My old ipod broke how do i get all the stuf i brought on my new ipod
hi please help
Or if the stuff is still in your iTunes library you should just be able to connect the iPod and sync everything over to it as you did your old one. If you also have a backup of the old iPod in iTunes, you can restore from that backup to retain some of your App Data and such.

Here is what is included in the backup.

How can I get all of my music to play on my ipod when the wifi is turned off?
Please someone help me....ever since I put my music "in the cloud", I can't seem to listen to all of my music on my ipod unless I am connected to wifi....
I'm not an iCloud user (or different type of "in the cloud" user) but you need the songs on the iPod Touch to play offline. If its in the cloud, i think you need to be connected to listen.

How do I get ALL of my music from my ipod classic to my itunes account on a new computer?
I don't have access to my old computer that had all of my music on it. My music came from cds, Amazon, and itunes. I want it all on my new computer, but if I sync my ipod, I will lose over 500 songs.

How do I get all the music in 'my music' onto my ipod?
I've followed the instructions for downloading music from my computer, but "My Music" has 734 items, and my ipod lists 567 songs. ???
Did you add all the music in your My Music folder to iTunes?
Are they all supported file types?

Windows users sometimes have WMA files (Windows Media Audio). These are not supported by iTunes however iTunes should be able to convert these files for you. -
Help me please!?!
See if you can wipe/erase his device. make sure you select his device and not your device to erase.
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud. -
