Ever since I installed OS6, nothing seems to work right. My Find Friends have been dropping and couldn't find friends. Every time you delete an app thinking I can always get it back by re-installing it...nope -- it did not work that way cos once you deleted it, you won't get it to work again. There are always some other steps you will need to do to get it back. I can't get my gmail working ever since I installed OS6. I was told I had to download the app and syn it to my phone again. I could not get it back even after talking to the customer service for over an hour. Worst part is I spent all morning trying to get some assistance from apple technical support...big mistake and worst service ever. I paid $99 for apple care and I felt like I deserved some professional help. She was rude and had no knowledge and unprofessional. What is wrong with Apple? I always like my iPhone but I am very disappointed with all these bugs and with no help at all.

Your phone is "activation locked". It cannot be used unless this lock is removed by the previous owner of the iPhone. If the seller can't help you then ask for a refund of your money.
Apple won't help you. Note that the iPhone you bought may well be stolen property..

Basics from the manual are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new. Go through each of these in order until your problem is resolved.

Try deleing the download and try again. It is located:

If yo restore, the iPod will also be update. You can try that. Just make sure that you backup first so yo can restore from backup

You can buy an unlocked iPhone at any of the 5 Apple stores in NYC. All are open on Sunday. Note a couple of things, however:
US iPhone 5's will work on 3G in the rest of the world, but not on LTE because the US phones use different channels than other countries
Be sure you say "unlocked", not "no contract"
If it breaks it must be returned to a US store for repair, and if shipped to Apple it must be from and to a US address

Probably dead if you have tried to charge it.
You should never try to charge or turn on a wet electronic device.
You should let it dry for a week or so, then try.

Where can i exchange my not working iphone bought in Switzerland (on july 12, 2012.) that just turned off and not working since. In croatian store they don't want to give me replacement phone!!!!

I have bought iphone 4s on July 12, 2012.in Zurich in offical Apple store (Glattzentrum) and after one and a half months it just turned off and not working since. I tried three charges and nothing (it detects that charger is on but it cannot be charged). So now I have a not working phone only two and something months after purchase. But the problem is that in Croatia we have two apple reseller stores and neither don't want to exchange it, although is under warranty!!!! The closest stores are 250 km from Zagreb...Of course I have contacted Apple store in Zurich but they told me to come in Switzerland or to send credit card data for receiving new iphone, the problem is I don't have credit card with 700 euro on it!!!! what to do?? who to call ??? where to get replacment device cause this is disaster???? I wanted to buy ipad but after all this I doubt to do so...I have not working Iphone payed around 700 chf or 800 usd and cannot change it in my country, is it possible for such vast organization like apple that this things can occur????? Based on the information that you have supplied, you have a Early or Late 2008 MBP. Maximum RAM that it will accept is 6 GB with the following specifications: 200-pin PC2-5300 (667MHz) DDR2 SO-DIMM.
The best sources for Mac compatible RAM are OWC and Crucial.
