I just want to add apps?

Hi! I have a older Itouch, 1.1.5 version? I am trying to figure out how to add apps, podcasts, etc....
Someone told me I had to download an update, so that my touch acts more like an Iphone, but my Itunes tells me that I am current with all updates available.
Can anyone offer me some guidance? I'm just lost and overwhelmed... Thanks in advance!

Do the following:
rename the old library to something other that iPhoto Library.
copy the library to the Pictures folder on your new laptop.
launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and select the old library to open it and convert it to the newer version.
Note: if the older version of iPhoto was iPhoto 7 (08) or earlier you'll need to download and run the iPhoto Library Upgrader 1.1 on it before opening with iPhoto on your new laptop.
If you want to merge the two libraries into one library and keep the edited versions, keywords, titles, etc. you'll need to use the paid version of iPhoto Library Manager to do the merging.

At the top of the iTunes Store window, you will see who is logged into iTunes. I'm guessing from your description, that it is your husband. If it is, click on the name to display the dropdown, log him out and sign yourself back in:\

I just want to add music to my iphone...

I got an iphone this week, connected it to my wife's laptop in order to activate it on AT&T, and it sync'd it with her laptop. Now I have a ton of music on my computer that I want to add to my iphone and when I connected it there, it wont let me drag music from my library over to the phone. It won't let me sync either saying that it will have to erase everything on my phone since it's sync'd with another library...
Isn't there just some mass storage driver type option that I can use? Honestly, I'm not a big fan of the itunes app, I find it aggravating, not intuitive, confusing, etc... Isn't there a simple way to drag a file from a folder and just drop it onto my iphone?!?!??

All music that goes onto iphone must come from itunes.
You can only sync/manage music from one computer/itunes library at a time. If you want music from both computers, you will have to put it all on one computer, then sync.

I'm borrowing a friend's iPod touch until I get another phone and I want to add some apps. I deleted all the apps that weren't needed and then I tried to add some of the apps that I need. I switched the Apple ID account on the iPod and the iCloud account to my own along with all the other apps (Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Instagram, Skype, mail, YouTube, etc.) When i go to the Apple app store and try and update or download a new app it still asks for the old password. How do I get it so when I try and download new stuff it asks for MY password?

It is showing updates because your machine is tied to the original purchase and will remain so until you wipe the drive.
As you purchased it used and the seller obviously did not do what he was supposed to do and that is erase the hard drive and reinstall the original system, you will run in to far more difficult problems when you need to reinstall for whatever reason. The new licensing requirements are that any mac is sold with the original OS - any OS or app obtained at the app store is NOT transferable and the buyer needs to purchase their own license. That means you will not be able to reinstall the OS.
At some point, you will need to try to get either the original install disks (from the seller or Apple) and wipe your drive and reinstall. Then you can download your own licensed copy of Mavericks and any apps you want.

An iPod can only sync with one iTunes library. That is why yu are getting the message when yu try to sync it to the other library/computer. You can however, manage music and viodeos among multiple computer by:

You can download whatever you want by signing into your own account, but what ever was previously installed with the other account will be forever associated with that account. This will work until the apps that aren't yours need updating and the only way to update them will be to sign in with other I'd.

I don't want to BURN a CD, I just want to add a new song to the CD!

Why can't I just add a new music purchase to the CD that already contains other iTunes music?

iTunes doesn't support Multisession burning. If you are burning the tracks to a Data CD you could try using Disk Utility instead, see the last section on this page: Burning a CD or DVD

You can only do this by editing the HTML.
Start first in your iWeb page and make a textbox to fit the graphic, eg 160 x 160px. Then type in the textbox, eg WeatherCode.
Publish.
Edit the published html page with a text editor, and replace 'WeatherCode' with this:
You will see href points to the weather site, and img src points to the dynamic image. Change to suit.

I downloaded a movie to the wrong library by accident. now i can't put the movie on my husband's ipod because it says it can only sync to one library at a time. how do i fix this? i don't want to get rid of the old videos, i just want to add new ones

Copy the movie from the current library to the correct library.
iDevices can only sync to one library at a time.
