I don't claim that everything on ebay is fine, there are a lot of fakes and such a puchase is for experiensed ebay users ONLY.
But it can be unlocked and until they set it free, there will be thousants sold like mine. I wouldn't wait for some months to buy it from the well known phone resailer in Greece, who could give me no support at all, with a closed contract with a provider for I don't know how many years and pay double as much as it really costs. -
I did the last software upgrade for iphoto, It goes thru a 9 step process. Mine is stock at step 5 99% complete. It has been that way for 1 week now. I have in excess of 62 k pictures. Program is not stock. Any advice?
force quit, Back up your iPhoto library, Depress the option (alt) and command keys and launch iPhoto - rebuild your iPhoto library

I am currently under contract with AT&T and have a work sponsored blackberry. Let's say I did want to use the phone capabilities of the iphone but do not want to activate it and pay out of my own pocket. What can I do? I have read so many SIM related posts but have yet to find the one, single, clear answer.

If you are a current ATT customer, you wont pay an activation fee for the iPhone. But you will have to add the iPhone data plan to your bill. I don't know what your paying now, but this may, or maynot affect your overall bill. I do know, that you will loose your corperate discount though. -
My niece's boyfriend was messing around with the user names and airport settings and ever since the computer has crashed upon every restart. I tried putting the original software disc to reload the original software and I found out that there is a cd already in the slot. Please help!
THanks!I just ejected the cd using command + option + O + F and then tping eject cd - IT WORKED!!!! Now I just gotta figure out how to get the computer to - NEVERMIND! I GOT IT!!!! THE COMPUTER IS STARTING UP WITH THE ORIGINAL CD!!!!! I'M RELOADING THE ORIGINAL SOFTWARE RIGHT NOW! I appreciate everyone being here even though I figured this one out myself. Can I get a witness??? In order to return your computer to factory spec you need the discs, there is no other way. You can call AppleCare and give them the serial number and they'll ship you a set of the original discs for a fee, or providing that you have at least 1gb of ram you can purchase and install 10.6. http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard

How do I keep Notes out of my inbox? I just want them on the iPhone Notes
and on the computer under On My Mac.
Go to Mail -> Preferences, click Accounts, then Mailbox Behaviors. For each one of your accounts (if you have more than one), uncheck *Show notes in Inbox*.

The system seems to have assumed I have Aperture 3 - I dont have any version of same. I am just trying to sneak in via a minimal approach to be able to process Raw files from Sony RX100 only. My main photo gear is Nikon but the little Sony is a gem, & I cant find a way yet, short of getting a new macbook pro. I'd rather get a new lens.

But you need to upgrade at least to MacOS X 10.8.5.
Do you have a current version of iPhoto? Aperture is not necessary to use the raw support, but it has more features to fine-tune the raw developement. -

I have attempted to reset the network settings, nothing changed. The wireless router is working and has nothing wrong with it. Ever since I downloaded the software update, WiFi connection can not happen and every time I try to do anything that uses the internet it directs me to the apple support site. How can this be resolved?
I've tried the following:
* Settings | General | Reset | Reset Network Settings (Twice)
* Settings | General | Reset | Reset All Settings (Once)
* Plugging it in and doing a "Restore" through iTunes (that's how I downloaded iOS 5.1.1 in the first place)
All the passcodes and restrictions are are turned off.
When I first try to connect to the network, I'm prompted to enter my username and password (I've elected to "forget" the network a few times so I can get this screen again). If I enter it wrong, then I just get an error that I'm not connected. When I enter it right, I get a warning that the certificate is "not verified". When I click on "More Details", I can see all the information that got pulled from the network (Issuer Name, Signature Algorithm, Public Key Algorithm, Key Usage, etc.). When I choose to "Accept", I get the little icon indicating that it's trying to connect...this never goes away (I let it run for an hour).
The encryption type on the main Wifi I'm trying to connect to says it's RSA (I'm guessing it's WEP though...I didn't set it up, our IT group did that). -
