I just want to watch movies

Are there any websites that I can watch streaming movies on?
<Edited by Host>

The YouTube app does not use Flash. If you are referring to pirated movies on YouTube they are not accessible through the app, but they also don't last long on YouTube.
Don't know what other legal services are available in ITaly and don't know the terms of service in Italy for HBO GO, I'm sure you are capable of checking.
As far as discussing flash here, I doubt you can come up with anything new:

That about covers it. Happy reading.

    Hi Maryan,
Open System Preferences > Displays > select the window for you external monitor > click on the Arrangement tab and check the box next to Mirror Displays. It may be slightly different in Lion, but the idea is the same.

  • We have purchased a movie on Apple TV (2) and its taking too long to load, so we want to watch movie on Itunes on the computer but can't find rented movies on the MAC

We have purchased a movie via Apple TV (2) and its taking too long to load, so we want to watch movie on Itunes on the computer but can't find rented movies on the MAC iTunes

Movies rented on Apple TV aren't transferable to another device. If its taking awhile to load then its an issue with your network.
What is your speed via speedtest.net
    1080p requires 8mbps
    720p needs 6mbps
You can change to SD in settings
Interference can cause issues, verify via istumbler or netstumbler
Should be using ISPs DNS (settings - network - DNS should be automatic)

    Hi there slogrown,
You may need to download these purchases directly to the device. Take a looke at article below for more information.

  • Silverlight fails to install on Vista - just want to watch netflix again

I just want to watch Netflix and now I can't because Silverlight tells me that "Your operating system does not support the 64-bit version of Silverlight." But according to Microsoft's compatibility page I should have no problem installed the update
on Vista.  Any insight would be great. Was going to uninstall and attempt to reinstall but the "view video on how to uninstall" on the website also doesn't work. So frustrating.
    Am I missing something here?
I have Windows Vista Service pack 2 w/ 4 gigs of Ram and 64 bit operating system.
    Thanks.

I had to completely rebuild my system a couple of months ago (Vista Ultimate x64) and Silverlight installed with no hassles at all. But Netflix recommended I upgrade Silverlight so I tried to and the install failed with nonsensical errors. Also, my previous
    install is now trashed.
I downloaded the installer automatically, saved it and ran it from the hard drive, but received the false error that I was not running an x64 system.
Out of curiosity I I tried running the installer under IE x64 and got the warning that Silverlight x64 does not work with IE x64. This is very strange considering that Silverlight 64 supposedly works fine with Firefox, if you can get it to install. Or so
    I am told.
Why does the Silverlight installer think I am not running an x64 system?
I wound up reinstalling the version from last January, but I cannot tell if it is 32- or 64-bit. The Netflix stream I had selected just started running. Is there any way to sell what bit version of Silverlight you are using? I am successfully running Silverlight

  • I have a problem trying to answer my security questions for iTunes.  And for some reason the backup email I gave which sends the answers is completely useless to me.  How can I fix this? I just want to watch a movie on iTunes.

    Please help

If the email hasn't arrived after a few hours and isn't in a spam filter, you need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, or clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed in either article, filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

  • TV out - I want to watch movies on a TV

I know the screen on a iPod is good, but it is small. It is nowhere near as good as a 40 inch TV. In my old iPod classic this was no problem.I could watch my movies on a full size TV using my classic iPod. Yet I have just bought a iPod touch and cannot work out how to do this. The manual implies I cannot do so.
Any way known I can watch videos or even photos that are stored on my iPod touch on a full size TV?

"The manual implies I cannot do so. "
How does the manual do this?
    From the manual:
    "TV Out
Use these settings to control how iPod touch plays videos on your TV.
Turn widescreen on or off: Choose Video and turn Widescreen on or off.
Set TV signal to NTSC or PAL: Choose Video > TV Signal and select NTSC or PAL.
NTSC and PAL are TV broadcast standards. iPod touch displays NTSC 480p/PAL 576p
when attached to a TV using a Component AV Cable, or NTSC 480i/PAL 576i using a
Composite AV Cable. Your TV might use NTSC or PAL, depending on where you bought
it. If you’re not sure which to use, check the documentation that came with your TV.
For more information about using iPod touch to play videos on your TV, see “Watching
Videos on a TV” on page 64.
    AND:
    "Watching Videos on a TV
You can watch iPod videos on your TV, using any of the following:
    Apple Component AV Cable
    Â
    Apple Composite AV Cable
    Â
Apple Digital AV Adapter and an HDMI cable (iPod touch 4th generation)
    Â
Apple VGA Adapter and a VGA cable
    Â
The Digital AV Adapter supports high-definition video up to 720p with audio.
You can also stream iPod videos wirelessly to your TV using AirPlay and Apple TV.
Note: Apple cables, adapters, and docks are available for purchase separately. Go to
www.apple.com/ipodstore (may not be available in all countries or regions) or check
    with your local Apple retailer.

  • Help-just want to convert .mov file

Hi; just upgraded to quicktime pro for one reason.
I have a digital camera that records video in .mov files.
I want to convert the .mov files to mpeg; so that I can edit them in WindowsMovie maker.
I have a 35meg .mov file that I just converted to MPEG4; and now it looks awful. it is only 3mb. can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
i called apple; but of course--they don't offer support.
    Jim

First off, you should try to make the editing file an uncompressed format since you are going to wind up re-compressing after the editing is finished and multiple compressions will make any file look bad. Try uncompresed avi or DV stream and see if Movie Maker will accept one of those.
As for the problem with the file you compressed looking awful that is probably because the mpeg4 wound up with a very low datarate. Click on Options in the export file box and make the datarate higher and see if that improves the look.

  • Why do I have to quit itunes and restart when I want to watch movies on my Apple TV?

Every day I come home and put on a movie or TV show from my iTunes library but every day when I go into the Apple TV to the computers,  it says "loading Mac" but times out and goes back to themain screen.  Only after I quit itunes on my computer and restart it will it find the itunes and show the contents of my itunes library.
It is getting frustrating.  This began about 2 software updates ago.  I even bought the new Apple TV

Lion may have replaced files that partially made up your printer drivers. Either way, HP saw fit to make a new set of drivers specifically for 10.7 so you may want to use it simply to avoid any bugs tehy found.

  • Why in the world is it that everytime I attempt to report a problem with The TV Show "The Walking Dead Season 2 episode 1" I tunes redirects me to their main page..***.. I just want to watch this show. I'm deployed

Why in the world is it that everytime I attempt to report a problem with The TV Show "The Walking Dead Season 2 episode 1" Itunes redirects me to their main page..**

I have recently started having this problem in PSE8. The Adobe workaround
did work, but I don't fancy having to re register each time I use it.
What I have discovered is that it's nothing to do with the image metadata as it occurs before any image is opened.
It SEEMS to only occur if you use file/open with to open an image in the editor - IE start PSE with that command.
If you close elements down, and start it using programs/PSE/Elements (or your desktop shortcut) - the panorama feature magically works.
Each time I've opened the editor 'automatically' using image/open with, it seems to create the problem.
    Hope this helps

  • Just want to watch my DVD's!

PB G4 is about 4 years old.
    Same drive: MATSHITA DVD-R UJ-816
Upgraded 3 weeks ago to Leopard OS X v. 10.5.4
OK here's the thing: the MATSHITA DVD-R UJ-816 drive started spitting out the DVD's like everyone else who posted before with the same problem. These are originals, copies, etc. Funny thing is the CD's inserted are ok. Plays on iTunes. Also reads the Apple install and restore disk. I even tried someone's suggestion "tapping the back panel of the drive upside down" thing...no go.
I have no need to burn or convert at this time, but an Apple reseller here in Budapest HU kindly suggested the alternative to having them replace the drive for approx. $400 US is to purchase and download Roxio's Toast 9 Titanium and then purchase an external DVD drive (doesn't matter if it's only PC compatible like Sony, Pioneer, Samsung). This is a cheaper way but confusing to me that Toast is a burner if I'm correct. Any thoughts?
Has anyone done this? Does it work? Any other suggestions would be kindly appreciated.

OK, so I decided to buy an LG GSA E10L external drive. Took my PB with me to the shop and the guy was kind enough to allow me to hook it up and it worked fine. Funny thing is it asked which region I was in, and like Apple allowed only 5 changes, which is good for me 'cause I used up all my changes a year ago from traveling back and forth
I don't know what the reseller was talking about regarding Toast 9 Titanium, but if anyone knows what he's talking about, please let me know. Looks like a good program anyways to burn. To play any external drive on a PB though seems like an unnecessary $99.95 spent on something it doesn't require.

  • What cable do I need to watch movies on my Sony HDTV LCD tv from MacBook pr

I have a brand new MacBook pro 13" and just wanted to watch movies on my tv instead of the laptop, thanks

Depends on what input options you have on your TV.
If your TV has DVI in then you need a MiniDisplay Port to DVI Adapter.
If your TV does not have DVI in but has HDMI then you need a MiniDisplay Port to HDMI Adapter with Audio Support.

  • HT4743 I rented a movie on my Apple TV and now I also want to watch the movie on my Mac.  How do I access the rented movie without having to rent again from the Mac?

I rented a movie on my Apple TV and now I also want to watch the movie on my Mac.  How do I access the rented movie without having to rent again from the Mac?

    Welcome to the Apple community.
If you rent a movie on the Apple TV, then it can only be watched on the Apple TV. If you want to watch movies on multiple devices, you need to download it to your computer, where you can then transfer it to other devices or stream it to your Apple TV as well as watch it from your Mac.
