I just watched my first movie using Apple TV and Netflix. Apple TV works great except for then I try to switch back over to tv mode I get the cable channel info on the bottom of the screen but no sound or picture. What did I I do wrong?

It was easy to set up, easy to use, got done watching the movie. Transferred from HDMI to TV and as my question above notes. I am on TV, my cable information (show/channel/etc) show OM the banner on the bottom of the screen, I can view the channell guide, but, my screen is white, no picture no sound? thank u 4 yr help , i have managed to do it after all. i downloaded the iphone 3gs ios 4.2 manual and it explained everything i had to do on there ... all i had to do was put my sim into phone ,then connect usb lead and then open my i tunes , i clicked on my iphone and went into summery and straight away it synchronized my phone and yay up popped my sim card and ready to use ('',) many thanks though 4 yr help wendy

You won't be able to view them via Apple TV, correct. It is not meant for this function, if that's your intended purpose its best to get a DVD player

I just got an Airport Express and it works great except for XBox lag.

I am having intermittent lag packets with online games Xbox Live in particular. The Xbox is even on the ethernet port. Yes I have the Xbox set to a static outside the DHCP range and in the DMZ/Host port. So far I have also turned NAT-PMP off to see if that would help and changed channels on wireless to manual.Any other ideas?

If you are getting 20 Mbps measured at the Ethernert port of the Express, it should work great. Suspect a defective Express here.

How do you properly set up a home network with multiple devices? I have a macbook pro, an iMac, and several other phones, tablets, roku devices, etc. Everything works properly except for when I try to access the other computer through the network.

I have an iMac and a macbook pro that I used to be able to share files between but ever since I moved 3 months ago I can't get it to work. Also, now my phone and my wife's phone are inseparably connected. She seems to be getting all of my text messages but I don't get hers. We also bought new computers right before we moved so that might have something to do with it. Both computers are on my account and have my name. In Rich Text mode, there's an "Add a link" button (an Earth with two chain links in front of it) in the toolbar, which opens a window where you can type a web address. Yahoo! Mail then inserts it into your email as a link.

Apple designed their "extend" feature as a proprietary function to work with other Apple routers, so it's extremely unlikely that the AirPort Express would be able to wirelessly extend your D-Link network.
If you can connect the AirPort Express to the D-Link router using a wired Ethernet connection, the Express can likely be configured to provide more wireless coverage that way.

I would suggest that you go to iMovie/Preferences and make sure that Advanced Tools are enabled.
Then, you can drag your new video clip on top of your old clip and a popup menu should appear. Choose REPLACE.

Does it allow you to go ahead and use the iBook after you cancel the Keychain login? If so, it's not a big deal.
Are you able to go to System Preferences > Accounts and create a new account for yourself? That should eliminate Keychain password problems.

Maybe they will help you get it seated better. It's considered a customer-installable part, so it should be easy enough for you to handle without worrying about goofing anything up.
What CDs (if any) came with the iBook?
Which version of the operating system is it running?
How big is the hard drive and how much space remains available on it? If it's the original hard drive, it's getting very old and could fail at any time. The identifier "PowerBook 4,1" tells me that the iBook is ten years old, and is either a 500 or 600 MHz PowerPC G3 (Dual USB) iBook. As such, you can't expect a whole lot from it.
The optical drive on this iBook could be a CD-ROM (reads CDs only), CD-RW (reads and writes CDs; no DVD capability), DVD (reads CDs and DVDs), or Combo (reads and writes CDs; reads DVDs) drive.
