I just went from an iPad 3 to an iPad 4...

...and after setting up the new one and backing everything up from my computer, i am getting messages that there is not enough storage capacity on the new iPad. It is not letting me take a picture or sync my music library... I never had any issues with the old one, so why now?

Connect the iPod to your computer and look at the storage used by the various categories as shown in the colored bargarph in iTunes.
Come back with the results.
An "other" larger than about 1 1/2 GB indicates that the "other" includes corrupted files. Usually restoring from backup eliminated the corrupted files. However, sometimes restoring to factory settings/new iPod is required.

I just went from OS 10.6 to 10.8. The arrow button is gone from the scrollbar. I do not see the option in "Systems Preference" any more. Am I missing something. If it is gone, is Apple going to bring it back?

How do I delete just songs from the iPad?

In an attempt to move my iTunes library, I have now gotten way out of whack with my music. I deleted all songs from iTunes and re-imported (sacrificing my play counts, etc., but I didn't know what else to do), and that works, but it leaves my iPad in a state of confusion. So I would like to remove all music from the iPad and just start over and re-sync, but I am having no luck with that.
Here are things I've tried:
Re-syncing after re-importing the library to iTunes. After that, I can see a full list of songs on the iPad, but 80% of them are grayed out and not playable.
Deleted all the iTunes library files (the itdb's, the itl's and the xml) so that when iTunes opened, it would give me the fresh screen and show no music. Then I synced the iPad--it told me it was going to erase everything on the iPad b/c it was synced to a different library (presumably my old library), and I said okay, and it synced, and somehow there are still about 200 songs on there. No idea how those songs "survived," but they did.
I tried going to Settings -> General, and I see an option for "Reset All Settings", and right under it "Erase All Content and Settings," but inexplicably, there is no option for "Erase All Content and Leave the Settings Alone!" I'm not sure why of those three things, they think the first two are important to users, and the last one isn't.
Ideally I would not like to reset my iPad, as I don't want to lose all my app data and that kind of thing--anybody know an easy way just to wipe all song media from the iPad? Thanks!

You can use these steps to delete songs from the Music app on your iPad:
iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Tap the Music app.
Tap the Songs category.
Swipe left over the song you want to delete.
Tap Delete.

Iphone 32GB 3GS Just went from 92% to 0% After Apps Update

Ok phone just flickered and crashed to battery screen after Apps update....Now it wont reset or charge up....

Ok the phone just rebooted itself....showing 7% battery power, plugged in but charge not increasing how the **** can a perfectly working phone go from 92% to nil at the touch of a button.

My Bionic just went from bad to worse

Ok, after suffering through spotty 3G/4G issues, I replaced my Bionic. Got the replacement on Jan 16, 2012. Still had the same spotty 3G/4G service. That's the bad.
I spent most of yesterday Feb 2, 2012, with no 3G/4G at all. It would be on for 4 or 5 minutes then drop and be off for minutes to hours. That's heading to worse.
Some time between 1AM and 5AM this morning, the phone seems to have died. I cannot get it to power on. It was working went I went to bed, and in 4 hours, it's managed to brick! That's the worse.
Enough is enough! Verizon and Motorola both need to get their acts together! *THIS* is ridiculous.

Call Customer Service an have them ship you out a New Sim card When you get that Sim Take it out of it's Holder Very Care fully an Do Not touch the Gold Area. Just wanted ask Did you happen to buy at the Store If you Did what might of Happen when that Sim was Installed it could have been Touched on the Gold Area if it Was it will not Function Properly.
That means the phone will not work as it should I am wondering if this is what's happening to a lot of these 4G phones that are out there Reps or Customer are installing these Sim an by not Watching what they Are Doing are touching that Sensitive Gold Area. We all have Static Electricity in our Body's an if that area is Touch it will make that Sim Not work as it Should or worse make it worthless in the Device.

My Iphone 3G shows up as an Ipod after I used the restore feature on iTunes to transfer my apps and info from my old iTouch 2G. As a result I can't go to "ringtones" because it does not show up in itunes as it still thinks I am connecting the iTouch?

You also want to move/copy the iPod backup file from the old computer to the new on. It is located:
Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Windows Vista and Windows 7: \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Note: If you do not see the AppData or Application Data folders, you may need to show hidden files (Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7), or iTunes may not be installed in the default location. Show hidden files and then search the hard drive for the Backup directory.
After you move your music and other stuff to the new computer, restore you iPod from backup and sync.

I had toclear the hard drive of my computer and reinstall Windows 7. Now I want to transfer all the music and photos from my iPad back onto my computer. I authorized the computer (it is the ONLY computer authorized on this account - and this is the ONLY account on this iPad). ITunes then downloaded my purchases...or at least it tried - out of the hundreds of tracks I have purchased, it managed one album that I bought over a year ago and NOTHING else. So I tried to Sync - since on older versions of iTunes (that were SO MUCH MORE user friendly) that would do the job -transferring things that were only on the iPad onto the computer and vice versa. It doesn't do that anymore. So I went from my iPad's summary to the Music tab - the box for Music was not checked but when I checked it said the only thing it could do was erase EVERYTHING from my iPad and replace it with what was on my computer (that ONE album). What is going on?

How do I connect and print from my iPad/ iPhone to Photosmart Plus B210 without using eprint?

Help! I am new to installing stuff and using a forum- but I am rubbish and need help!
I can use eprint from my devices, but can I use air print or something like it? My old printer was always found by my phone, but this time with the hp it says 'no air printers found'.
I want to be able to just print from my ipad without having to email it!

Hi there and welcome to the Forum. You should be able to print from your Apple device to your B210 using AirPrint as the printer is compatible with that feature. Take a look at this document for all the information you need to use AirPrint including steps you can take if you're getting a "No printers found" message on the iPad

Where have my recorded videos gone from my ipad.

Hi can anyone help me, I recorded several family videos and they have just disappeared from my ipad! I have looked everywhere I can think of.

Videos taken on the iPad should show up in:
Photos > collections (look for the date)
Albums > Camera Roll and Videos
Under Shared if you actually shared them through iCloud.
If they are not showing up in any of those, it is likely they were inadvertently deleted.
