I just went to upgrade my photoshop elements 13 from the trail version

I bought the software and got the serial numbers - but every time I enter it in it says that the serial number is not valid for Photoshop Elements 13. Help!!!!

Photoshop Elements 10 from the app store crashes every time I run it

I bought Photoshop Elements 10 from the app store. When I try to run it, it crashes. My macbook is brand new (bought it March, 2012), with 8GB ram and a 256SSD. Here's the report:

Hi,
Can you please confirm whether the volume on which you are installing Photoshop Elements is Case Sensitive or Case In-Sensitive? To find this out you will need to perform the following steps:
1. Launch /Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility.app
2. Click on the Disk from the left panel (Not the Partition)
3. Click on the Partition Tab
4. Check the text that is written in the Format Tab. Is it Mac OS Extended (Case-sensitive, Journaled)?
If it is Case-sensitive, Journaled, then you will have to make this volume as Case-Insensitive by selecting Mac OS Extended (Journaled) as PSE is currently not supported on case sensitive volumes.

Due to Photoshop Elements 12 Organizer I uninstalled the program. When I re-installed Photoshop Elements 12 on the same computer the "Photoshop Elements 12.0.exe" file is not available. I have tried loading Photoshop Elements 12 from the Adobe web site without success.

The Elements 12 shortcut can't find the Elements12.0.exe file so the program will not load. I can load the editor from its .exe file but not the organizer.

I recently updated by Photoshop Elements 10 to the latest version on my PC and some of the settings are different and I cannot find where to change them. When I connect my photo SD card or iphone to import photo's, in the past, I could copy from the device to a folder, go back to the device and copy the same photo's or group to another folder. Since the update, the photo/group is not accessible to copy a second time, this is inconvenient as at times I may copy a photo or group of photo's 2 or 3 times into different folders. Any suggestions?

Why does Photoshop Elements not remove the old version after installing an upgrade?

When I install a new version of Photoshop Elements, it converts the old catalog but does not remove the old programs. I just installed PS 11 over PS 10 and it did not remove it. I have had the same problem with each upgrade. I have to manually uninstall the old version.

Uninstalling the older version post an upgrade might be discomforting to many users, so...
Catalog conversion works fine irrespective of whether you uninstall or do not uninstall the older version since the catalog folders are not touched during uninstall.

I downloaded the camera raw update 6.6 but it will not install. I get an error about this application is not supported.
There is no update menu on the Elements 10 on my version of Photoshop Elements.

Reinstalling Photoshop Elements 11 from the beginning

I am using Photoshop Elements 11 Organiser and the system has become so corrupted that I want to start again from the very beginning. I have all of my photographs on memory sticks so I am not concerned about deleting photographs by mistake. I want to start again from scratch and with a clear Organiser.
In an effort to delete all of the Folders I tried deleateing Photoshop Elements and then reinstalling it but when I looked at the Folders after reinstalling the program, they were there exactly the same as they were before I deleated the Program. I want to clear out all of the folders from the Organiser and then start again.
I would appreciate your assistance in clearing the Folders and allowing me to start again from the beginning.

Why does the image not open in Elements when I opt for Edit in Photoshop Elements 11 from the Photos tab in Aperture?

With an image in Aperture, when I got Photos one of the options offered is "Edit in Elements Photoshop 11", but although selecting this opens Elements, there is no image and it is necessary to open the image in the normal way from within Elements. Other plugins, e.g. from Topaz work superbly from within Aperture. I am puzzled to know the reason, and in particular if there is any setting in either Aperture of Elements that need to be attended to. I would be very grateful for any suggestions.

Hi Frank, and many thanks. I can now get the picture into Elements, and work on it. However, when I have finished, I save it (giving it another name that I can recognise if the amendments are slight) it puts the file back into the same folder, but I have then to import it into the Aperture library in order to see it back in Aperture. Not a big problem, but an interesting one.

Trial version is the same as the purchased version. No need to uninstall the Trial, you can simply serialize it and use it.
