Could you post your diagnostics for us please?
In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:
... and click "Next".
When you get through to the final screen:
... click the "Copy to Clipboard" button and paste the diagnostics into a reply here.

I use iTunes Match so I can't confirm this on my computer (my Music tab looks different), but as I recall, on the Music tab you have the option to check to sync selected playlists, artists and genres, and then check which playlists you want to sync below that. Then, like songs, you would uncheck the playlists you don't want on your phone and sync to remove them.

If there is content on the device from multiple Apple IDs, the computer must be authorized for each of those Apple IDs.

When I'm trying to sync my iPad with iTunes on my MacBook Pro, i keep getting a message that certain recent purchases (TV shows) won't sync because the computer is not authorized. But, it IS authorized! What's going on here??

I've recently upgraded my iPad to OS 5 and I am running iTunes 10 on my MacBook Pro. For some unexplainable reason, I'm now getting a message that items (mainly TV shows I've purchased through iTunes) are not able to be downloaded because the computer is "not authorized." They will be removed from your iPhone but nothing will be removed from iTunes on your computer.

My Ipod Touch 4g doesn't want to restore, and is stuck in DFU mode with black screen! When in the restoring process i get Error 1618, can someone help?

My ipod touch got disabled and it said to connect it to itunes. It didnt want to recognize it so i try to restore it. Everything when good i downloaded the newest ipod software, it reach the loading bar in the ipod but didnt load anything. Then it turn off and the Error 1618 appear on Itunes can someone help me fix it???

Try a hard reset and see if you can get the Apple logo to light up.

I'm trying to reset Macbook Pro to factory. I have the disk, but when I try to reboot from the disk, holding down "c", it just goes straight to installation. Any help is appreciated.

I read the directions from Kappy on how setting my Macbook Pro to factory settings. I put the OS disk in, rebooted while holding down 'c'. I got the choose language, but then it goes to 'installation', no menu. Am I doing something wrong?

Erase and Install Snow Leopard
1. Boot from your OS X Installer Disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
Booting From An OS X Installer Disc
1. Insert OS X Installer Disc into the optical drive.
2. Restart the computer.
3. Immediately after the chime press and hold down the "C" key.
4. Release the key when the spinning gear below the dark gray Apple logo
appears.
5. Wait for installer to finish loading.
2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area. If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing. SMART info will not be reported on external drives. 3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. The download was successful of cs5 from adobe website, but there is an installation error.
