I have updated all my software I am on a MacBook Pro OS X Yosemite

First suggestion would be: fixing permissions problem that impedes start of Adobe applications

    There have been a few reports on here where Corsair RAM seems to have caused users a lot of grief with crashes.
    The recommendation on here, mostly, is to only buy RAM from macsales.com or crucial.com as they guarantee their modules will work and offer a no quibble lifetime guarantee.
    I'd put the original RAM back in, return the Corsair chips for a refund and re-order from one of those two companies.

    If you do not have Rapport, then we need to have a crash report ID. When you send Mozilla a crash report it just puts it in a giant database.     As with all unexplainable Photoshop-problems you might try trashing the prefs (after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved and making a note of the Preferences you’ve changed) by pressing command-alt-shift on starting the program or starting from a new user-account.
    System Maintenance (repairing permissions, purging PRAM, running cron-scripts, cleaning caches, etc.) might also be beneficial, Onyx has been recommended for such tasks.

    Weeding out bad fonts never seems to be a bad idea, either. (Validate your fonts in Font Book and remove the bad ones.)
    If 3rd party plug-ins are installed try disabling them to verify if one of those may be responsible for the problem.
    Does turning off OpenGL in the Performance Preferences and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?

    I suppose it helps Adobe keep track of the amount and nature of issues encountered by the users.
    These might then be addressed in a future update if the problem lies with the respective Adobe application (and it is not too complex) or if the problems lie with the OS or drivers the producers of those will hopefully be made aware of their bugs.
    And unless you provided your email-address Adobe employees would have little chance of getting back to you if it is a known and amendable problem.

    It isn't happening to everyone else, but if there was a trend of it happening to a lot of people, that would probably show up in the official InDesign user forum. But there aren't a lot of crash reports there, so it isn't something that's happening to everyone. There are a couple, so you might look at those. But since there is not a huge wave of crash reports, the problem might be more related to a problem on the system rather than a problem with InDesign, like a corrupted font.
    The best place to troubleshoot is probably over at the Adobe forum since the users there know InDesign very well.

    At present, system seems to be loading and running programs OK after Enter gets to Windows login. Using System Diagnostics (F2) route starts Hard Disk checks but they never seem to finish (bogus ?)
