I keep getting a "missing plugin" for midi and mp3 files I want to listen to online. These are Hymn files. And I get a message telling me I have a missing plugin. Any ideas?
My husband used to be able to convert ABC files to MIDI files . This allows sheet music to be played on the computer so as to learn a tune. We get the Missing Plug in message.
I downloaded the Quicktime 7. I open Quick time, Still get the message. What is the solution?

How to get the "Missing Plugin" for iPhoto 9.1.1 eMailing??
OK with the improvements in iPhoto (iLife'11) version 9.1.1 we are back to being able to eMail using MAIL or another eM program. Great. But I can also eMail within iPhoto- and this has been improved as well; so I tried this and sent a corkboard eM with 4 photos to myself...
...and got just the corkboard, with a message stating in the middle of the corkboard: *"Missing Plugin".*
Can anyone assist with this? (I tried another theme, a gray-background one with 3 pics and that worked fine - but not the "corkboard")

How do I specify quicktime plugin for use by mp3 files on ppc mac
In the Applications section of Firefox Preferences I find no way to specify that the Quicktime PLUG-IN is to be used for mp3 files. Although this action option is a provided for other kinds of files, that action option is missing for MP3 Audio file (audio/mp3) and for MP3 Audio File (audio/x-mp3).
I can specify that the Quicktime PLAYER should be used, but not the plug-in. How can I specify that I want the plug-in to be used?You need to set in the QuickTime Preferences what files types you want that plugin to handle.

I keep getting "Unable to connect" for my firefox. It was working yesterday and I turned my computer off. I can get to the web using internet explorer 9. I don't know why my firefox is not working. Everything else is working.
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

You need to delete the trial & then reinstall from the boxed DVD. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user.
Yvan Koenig has written an AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his iDisk in For_iWork > iWork '09 > uninstall iWork '09.zip. -

If everything is working OK, I believe it simply means that the iPad and iTunes are communicating and that any changes that you made to the sync configuration are waiting to go through. If you updated apps on the iPad and they get transferred into iTunes or if you download new songs onto the iPad and they are being transferred into iTunes, any app data that moves back and forth - those would be changes that need to be applied.

This is how I fixed it on my new iPhone 5S. Using the standard yahoo setting on my phone.
You will have to access "managing your app passwords" on your account profile for yahoo. Generate password for your app. For example: "My iPhone 5S'
Go to your Iphone and set up your yahoo mail account on your phone the normal way and you have to use the generated password. instead of the yahoo account password.
