I keep getting a pop up asking for my yahoo email password.

I have cancelled my yahoo account and deleted it off my computer but continue to get a pop up asking for my yahoo password. I look in settings under mail and the yahoo account is gone, but when I go to address book>prefrences and click on account my mac it shows the yahoo email address under account information and the box is unchecked. How can I get rid of that and stop the pop ups. Than you

  • Why is that every time I start my computer it asks for my Yahoo email password? How can I fix this?

The computer keeps asking for my password for Yahoo. I already gave it but it asks over and over.  This happens every time I start using the computer.

    Back up all data.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Select the login keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.
If the lock icon in the top left corner of the window shows that the keychain is locked, click to unlock it. You'll be prompted for the keychain password, which is the same as your login password, unless you've changed it.
Right-click or control-click the login entry in the list. From the menu that pops up, select Change Settings for Keychain "login". In the sheet that opens, uncheck both boxes, if not already unchecked.
    From the menu bar, select
Keychain Access ▹ Preferences ▹ First Aid
If the box marked Keep login keychain unlocked is not checked, check it.
    Select
Keychain Access ▹ Keychain First Aid
from the menu bar and repair the keychain. Quit Keychain Access.

  • I keep getting a pop up asking for my iCloud password. How can I stop this annoying pop up

       i password

Yes, it is a good idea to use Find My iPad.  To sign out without losing anything, do the following:
If you're running iOS 8.1, save any start by saving any my photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then Save Image.  Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out, choose Delete from My iPad and provide your password when prompted (any iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Then sign back in (any iCloud data will download back to your iPad).

  • Why do i keep getting a pop up menu for automatic downloads? I turned it off in the preferences, but it keeps popping up, asking me for my password.

Why do I keep getting a pop up menu asking me for my password in itunes to enable automatic downloads? I turned it off in the itunes preferences several times.  iTunes still gives me a pop up message asking for my password.  Please help.

Automatic downloads is for when you download something on your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad and automatic downloads will download these on your Mac or pc, eliminating the need for syncing. But I have limited bandwidth at home so I do not want this feature. Mine actually stopped bugging me for now, I cruised around the whole community looking for an answer and different things seems to be working for different people. It just seems to be a bug that will hopefully be fixed in an update. For me, I put in my password, even though I didn't want it, made sure it's not set to allow automatic downloads and tested it and it worked. It hasnt bugged me since, but it may come back over time.

  • I keep getting a dialogue box asking for my iCloud ID number on my Mac. I have to put it in several times before it finally accepts it. However, mu iCloud is working anyway.

I have a MacBook Pro, using Mavericks. A couple of days ago, a box keeps popping up asking for my iCloud ID. I have to put it in several times before it finally accepts my ID. However, when I just get frustrated and cancel it, my iCloud still works anyway. Is anyone else having this same problem?

If the setting is greyed out perhaps you have restrictions enabled that would prevent someone from changing accounts. Settings>General>Restrictions>Allow Changes>Accounts.

  • Ipad 4 asking for exchange and email passwords repeatedly.

I just received my ipad 4th Gen 16GB Wifi last night.  I setup as a new ipad and entered my email information for Yahoo.  It prompted me for my password and seemed to setup fine.  However when i refresh the mail, it asks for passwords over and over again and never seems to accept the right password (my iPhone 4S is working perfectly on yahoo).
I tried this for several exchange accounts and I had the same problem (My school, gmail exchange, my work exchange).  All with the same problem, saying my password is wrong and asking for it again, not refreshing mail, etc.
I've reset as new once and I've tried a hard reset (Home + Power).
    Any ideas?

  • When about to update apps in app store its asking for a different email password than mine?

How do i get the app store on my iphone 4s back to my information? A friend used my computer to update her phone and now its asking me for her password everytime i go to app store. I have tried everthing and made sure that im signed in when i sync. please help

When ever you purchase anything on the app store it is assigned to the apple id it was downloaded with, this means any updates on that app, also have to be updated with that apple id.
If you are using multiple apple ids, each app will need to be updated using that specific apple id that it was purchased (free or not) with.
