I keep getting a "Runtime Error!" which prevents opening iTunes. What up?
This is the message, verbatim, that I keep getting when I try to open iTunes. Why and what do I do? Thank you.
Microsoft Visual C ++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Program Files|itunes|itunes.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application support team for more information.
Some people have reported that Apple Software Update can cause this error, so you might try removing that and see if it helps. Removing that utility should not affect iTunes, though you won't get automatic updates (you can just download any new version of iTunes or QuickTime manually and install it). It would, however, be wise to make a backup of any purchased content or items that would otherwise be difficult to replace, just in case something goes wrong.

Can't get the latest vesion of Itunes to download correctly. I keep getting a runtime error R6034. I tried uninstalling all the apple components in the order given. anyone having any good advice to solve my problem?
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique. -

The new Itunes software update is flawed! I had the same issue. You need to uninstall Apple components, then reinstall. Go to this link for instructions. Takes about 20 mins but works!

I downloaded Itunes and keep getting a runtime error R6034 and was told to contact Itunes about problem/
First try updating to iTunes 11.1.5.5, using an installer downloaded from the Apple website:

Trying to fill out forms in Reader and keep getting this:
Runtime Error Program C\programfiles\adobe\reader9.0\acrobat32.exe -pure virtual function call
It says reader 9.0, but I have installed and am running 9.1 and it says 9.1 in the "about" tab. I cannot get my work done.
This was not happening in the previous version of reader I had.
Please HELP!
ElizabethIt might be a bug in the new version of Adobe Reader. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;125749
Looking at my system, the path for AcroRd32.exe for Adobe Reader 9.1 is C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 9.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe. I don't know if you mistyped your path, but you do not have \Reader\ in it. If you mouse over the file AcroRd32.exe, it should show you version 9.1.
Did you uninstall the previous version before installing the latest version? That is the recommended way to do it. I filled out my Federal Tax forms with Adobe Reader 9.1 without a problem. This is on Windows XP SP3, fully updated. -

i get a message MSVCR80.dll is missing reinstall itunes which i did but i keep getting the same message and cant open itunes at all
Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

Hi Jesse,
The driver you are using is for SQLServer Database. Since you are using Oracle as your database, you need an oracle driver. Please copy ojdbc6.jar from the [installDir]/lib/db/oracle/ directory and try again.
Thanks,

Hi johnbpl,
It sounds as if you are having difficulty connecting to the App Store to check for updates for applications on your iPad. If that is the case, I would suggest that you troubleshoot using the steps in this article -

Start with the section Troubleshoot issues on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch then if needed the section Learn more.
