I keep getting a wait time out error, how come?

WIth this VI "Acquire Image and Save Pixels Without Vision.vi" I am sure I do get an "external pixel clock" because when I don't turn on the Kodac KLI chip, I get an error that says, "No external pixel clock". So I know that there is a pixel clock. Have any ideas? I will send a Vi that I have a problem with. Make sure to read the little red banners, they tell which VI the error is in. There are errors all the way down it seems, (in the sub VI's Sub-VI's).

There is no input for the timeout with the HL Grab. You cand change a timeout value in MAX, though. In MAX you select the board you are using, right-click and select properties, and go to operating modes. Under the Misc. Settings, there is a selection for timeout. You might also check that all of the other parameters are set correctly such as Interface Name. Make sure that shows up exactly as it does in MAX, if MAX shows 'img1' make sure it is typed exactly the same for your VI. Also, I would suggest trying a couple of the other shipping examples (without the save) to make sure you can get images in LabVIEW. If the shipping examples work, then build up from them to the the save functionality.

I didn't pick it up in your first posting but \n is a line feed and not a carriage return. The correct code for carriage return is \r. One way to avoid any confusion is use the constant on the string palette and use the Append to String function to add this to any command you want to send. You can also modify VISA Configure Serial Port to automatically send a termination character on writes. Add the property Serial Settingserial End Mode for Writes. If you do this, you need to specify the hex value of the termination character. For a CR, this is 0D.
If this doesn't fix your problem, have you successfully communicated with the device using hyperterminal? If you can, that will at least tell me that the cable and commands are correct.

Bring up System Preferences and look at the bottom of the window. If there is software listed there, make sure you have the latest version that runs on OS X 10.7 Lion. Then go into users and look at login items. Same thing, ensure that any software listed there is at a level to run with OS X 10.7 Lion.
While Lion has a minimum requirement of 2GB of memory, 4GB is recommended.

If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.0.1. For the iPad Mini the iOS is 6.0.2. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

I get a connection timed out error when trying to connect to the itunes store, if I have pending downloads they show up and I can download, also I was able to access my account, yet I can't access other parts of the store, I am in greece on a macbook pro

I am from the states and am in Greece on vacation. I have a good wifi connection yet keep getting a connection timed out error when I try to access the itunes store. It is funny because pending downloads show up in the cue, and they download no problem. I can also open my account. When I try to go the the movies or music section of the stor though it just times out. I tried updating to the latest itunes software and restarting, also I checked all the proxy boxes in the network section of the settings then unchecked them all and restarted and it keeps doing the same thing. Any help would be appreciated.

There's been plenty of posts about Norton & the removal tool here. Unfortunately many folks seem to not even know it comes pre-installed on most PCs! Even a trial version, never used or long since expired can cause problems - and not just with iTunes.
Anyone with a Dell, HP, Gateway EEE PC, Asus ..... what Windows PC manufacturer does NOT have this junk software pre-installed?
Almost all of them have made deals with Symantec to pre-install it.
Horrible, horrible software.
Anyway, glad you finally solved your problem.

Connection time out error in server proxy

My scenario is file to proxy. . It is synchronous scenario.
I am giving wait time as input and in the proxy i wrote a code to wait till the inputed value and after that send a response. it is working fine only if i give less than 60 sec.
If i specify above 60 sec i am getting the connection time out error in SXMB_MONI.
Please help me to solve this.

Go to transaction SMICM........ Goto->services......choose HTTP.....edit this service.........increase maximum processing time and activate this service

WIH 00013 time out error while viewing a BO Web intelligence report

Hi,
I have a BO web intelligence report. While viewing the report i get WIH 00013 time out error. I have another report with everything same as this one except for one filter condition. That is working fine but former is giving me an error.
I tried changing the timeout values to 120 minutes from 90 minutes in connection server setting but didn't work.
Also when i run the same report by scheduling it in CMC and format as PDF, then it works fine. This error only comes when i try to view the report directly from infoview.
Please let me know if there is any other way to resolve.

Transaction Time out error in EJB while using Websphere Application Server.

I am using Websphere Application server and getting the transaction time out error. By default the transaction time out is 120 second. I am using session bean for doing a set of transaction. These set are dynamically generated. Is there any way to set the transaction time out for only this session bean to infinite ?

Hi,
According to WAS 6 , every opened connection has to be commited (or rolledback) explicitly (didnt try autocommit) before closing. Even if all you have done with that connection is a SELECT Query.
This has apparently solved the same problem I was getting. implement it and see whether it helps you.

Time Out error : Its urgent

The scenario is that I am running a Process chain in which there is a loading process . In that process if data loading takes more than 1 hour it gives time out error . in ST22 , but in Sm37 it is active. Moreover in scheduler , the time is set to 2 hrs.
What is happening ? can any one please explain . what should I do to get rid of time out error ? can we set time in update rule as in scheduler ?

Hi Rajib,
In your case even if you set the time out time in scheduler it takes the default work process settings. Which you can see in the Parameter rdisp/max_wprun_time
at RZ10 transaction and select Instance profile. Even if the job is in active in sm37 it doesn't progress further when there is a timeout recorded. Try to get intouch with you BASIS guys and get the parameter settings to 2 hours. which may require server reboot.

Do you see the problem if you turn off Compatibility Mode for QuickTime?
Right-click on the QuickTimePlayer application (located in C:\Program Files\QuickTime) and choose Properties from the shortcut menu.
In the Properties window, click the Compatibility tab
Deselect all checkboxes currently selected in the Compatibility tab.
Click Apply.
Close the Properties window.

Getting time out error when running the assigned verification in DRM 9.3.2.

I have installed DRM 9.3.2.0.0 in my system (windows 7), when i am trying to run assigned verifications i am getting the time out error within a minute.
As suggested by oracle,I have added DWORD with value 480000 under Master Data Management in Registry editor. But still getting the error.
Please suggest a solution for this issue.
