I keep getting an error message when the trial version of PS downloads to 42%

This only the trial version I am talking about but I do so deserpatly need it.
I have cleared all the cookes and at one point I thought it was going to work because it got to extracting but then it stopped again. And now once again I can not get it to download past 42%.can anyone help me as I need PS cs6 for a webdesign course I am taking.

I had this problem for about six weeks. I was following this forum but was too unsure of what might happen to try the fixes that were suggested.
About two weeks ago I decided to delete the downloads.28.sqlitedb file (usingDiskAid(a free program), on a PC running Windows 7). The original downloads.28.sqlitedb was 936 KB. The new one that the system created is 80 Kb., and has stayed at about that size. After about four days I also deleted all the other contents of the Download folder. Ten days later and still no more problems. Downloads are much quicker, nothing greys-out (as was happening frequently before).
Everything has worked well since with no more error messages.
I am using an iPod 4G, iOS 5.1 (originally iOS 5.0). I do not have a manifest file, and as far as I know, have not had one. DiskAid can search the whole "hard drive" on the iPod.
Deleting downloads.28.sqlitedb and the contents of Downloads worked for me.

Error -50 is a very unhelpful generic communications error with a number of possible causes. Something between the drive to which you are downloading and the drive from which it is all coming is not working correctly, which probably leaves several hundred options.

You are seeing the message because the new AirPort Extreme has some specific System Requirements:

iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 5 or later and AirPort Utility 1.3
Mac with OS X Lion v10.7.5 or later and AirPort Utility 6.3
AirPort Utility 5.6.1 in Snow Leopard may or may not work correctly with the new Extreme for all functions. As long as things are working OK for now, you can probably leave them "as is" and wait for another Mavericks update to fix some issues before you "upgrade".
If you have an iPhone or iPad, you could use that to administer any settings changes on the new Extreme.

I am also having this same problem. I have updated my computer. I have downloaded the complete brother driver package from Apple as well as the drivers from Brother. As far as I can tell, all have been installed successfully. It is only when I try to ADD the printer do I get that message. Both my roomate and I have Macbook Airs so we cant use the disk which came with the printer. This is irrelivant anyway as the drivers have been successfully downloaded and installed. I tried every obvious solution to this problem with different types of disc (-R; +R; -RW and +RW) and the problem persisted. Then I read about removing a hyphen in picture filenames. I renamed all the images and bingo there were no further problems. Apple should have solved this by now. This error code has been reported for several years and my MacBook Pro is quite new. Anyway, I hope this helps. It does work.
