I keep getting an error when downloading CS5.5 because of the 7Z Compressed File.

I'm downloading both files in the same folder. I have windows 7. I downloaded a program to extract the 7z file called bitser which hasn't helped.

you need to dl both the exe and the 7z files (ie, files 1 of 2 and 2 of 2).

For MAC try to give permissions to Adobe Indesign Folder:
Users/[user]/Library/Caches/Adobe InDesign
Users/[user]/Library/Preferences/Adobe InDesign
Access hidden user library files | Mac OS 10.7 and later
For Windows try to give permissions to Adobe Indesign Folder:
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\InDesign
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\InDesign
Also you can try logging in under a local administrator account as suggested by jeff.

I keep getting an error message when downloading an app..free or otherwise. States there is an issue with PayPal account...which I have closed to try and get around this error to no avail.

First, try contacting the developer of the app here > http://support.aspyr.com/home
If you do not get a reply within three to five business days, report the issue to Apple here > Apple - Support - Mac App Store - Contact Support
Apple's policy states, "all sales are final" > TUNES STORE - MAC APP STORE -TERMS AND CONDITIONS but if you explain the error and you haven't received areply from the developer, it can't hurt to request a refund.
You're sure there's enough free space on the startup disk?

Quit all background apps before the download. You may be running out of storage space or memory that your phone needs for the install process. Check available space. Perform the 7.0.6 update via Wi-Fi, not cellular data. If wireless does not work, connect your iPhone to iTunes via USB and select your phone device name on the left iTunes panel and update via the Summary iTunes window.

If anyone is reading this still looking for what caused the issue and how to fix it here is what I discovered.
The antivirus program our company uses, Bitdefender Antivirus Plus, was causing some of the PDF files not to open. After troubleshooting the different modules and settings the culprit was..
Scan SSL in Privacy Control Settings. Turning it OFF solved the problem and all the PDF files that previously would not open now open just fine. This issue has been sent to Bitdefender for them to review. If you use a different antivirus program and are having this issue try locating the Scan SSL setting and see if turning it off solves the problem.

Please excuse, but I have to ask an obvious question: Did you already update using the Snow Leopard Retail install DVD? (You must do this first; 10.6.7 is just an update if you already have 10.6.) Are you, then, trying to update from whatever version was on the install DVD to 10.6.7?
Otherwise, I'd keep trying. The 10.6.7 Combo is a huge update.

Try to go to Settings and then Store. Tap to your Apple ID and select View Apple ID. Now choose to check your payment information and when you're done tap Done. I had to rewrite my three digit code of the credit card and now it works.
Oh, I also activated Genius for Apps but I don't think it makes any difference.
