I keep getting an error when I try to buy a song.

I've looked online for solutions and I can't come up with any for my computer. I don't have an anti-virus program, I have my fire walls turned off, I turned off the pop up blockers and I have the current itunes version. I'm out of ideas.

2. Disconnect from internet.
3. Disable Firewall/Security software.
4. Run install. Note that it installs Application Support and a bunch of other software this time.
5. Run iTunes.

8. Download Watchmen Director's Cut post haste.

Try to go to Settings and then Store. Tap to your Apple ID and select View Apple ID. Now choose to check your payment information and when you're done tap Done. I had to rewrite my three digit code of the credit card and now it works.
Oh, I also activated Genius for Apps but I don't think it makes any difference.

I am upgrading from Tiger to Snow Leopard. I keep getting an error when I try to load the Mac Os x update combined. It says that it was corrupted during download. Have try loading from Apple website V10.6.7 upgrade combined but it still won't do it?

Please excuse, but I have to ask an obvious question: Did you already update using the Snow Leopard Retail install DVD? (You must do this first; 10.6.7 is just an update if you already have 10.6.) Are you, then, trying to update from whatever version was on the install DVD to 10.6.7?
Otherwise, I'd keep trying. The 10.6.7 Combo is a huge update.

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

What is going on with iCloud? My photos haven't uploaded to Photostream on my computer and I keep getting an error when I try to log in to my icloud account!

My photos from my iphone 4s have not uploaded to my photostream folder on my laptop in over 2 weeks. Also, when I try to log in to my icloud account, I keep getting an error.
Can anyone explain what is going on and when I can expect my pictures to stream automatically again?

Thanks for your suggestion. I started to sign off, but was uncomfortable deleting iCal data from my iMac in case there were old entries not sync'd to iCloud. So I decided to only delete Notes data from my iMac.
I first checked Notes on different devices and saw that they contained more data than my iMac, so I was pretty certain this is what I had in iCloud (another way would be to log on to icloud.com). I then unchecked Notes under System Preferences>iCloud, which prompted me to delete Notes from this Mac. I clicked on Delete from Mac, allowed it to finish, then clicked on the Notes checkbox again, and it sync'd the data from iCloud back to Notes on my iMac.

I get an error when I try to buy more iCloud storage space

I want to upgrade th the $40 20GB plan so I can sync all of my devices to iCloud, but I keep getting the "An unknown error has occured" when I try to buy the storage. I have read through just about every thread here & not one of them has given me a sloution that works.
Now, before you jump to the conclusion that every other thread has, I DO have an AMEX attached to my account & have since day one. However, I also have about $20 in iTunes gift cards also attached to my account right now. The only thing I can think of is that Apple for some reason sees that I have iTunes credits & cannot realize that there is an AMEX backing that up once it is gone.
I am fine with Apple putting the $40 straight on my AMEX, but I don't want to have to burn through my $20 in iTunes credits on a bunch of stuff I don't want/need just so I can clear that out of the way.
Has anyone found a solution to this error when your account has a credit card attached to it as well as iTunes credits?

I know that this is a known issue by all of the other threads, but I have not seen this error posted by people who have an active credit card attached to their account.
Is there no solution or even a workaround for this? Can Apple apply mroe storage if I call them?

you need to review the account and verify it, including payment method. If there's no option that states 'none' next to the creditcard options, you'll need to use a creditcard for this.

an "itunes has encountered a problem ..." message on launch citing that offset is almost invariably caused by a broken QuickTime. (itunes needs a fully functional QT in order to work properly.)
try to open your QuickTime. does it launch properly? or do you get an error message, or some other peculiar behavior, or find that it isn’t on your PC at all?

download and save a copy of the QT 7.1 standalone installer to your hard drive. (we'll run the install from there rather than online.) switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the install.

I'm having this issue as well. I have tried directly exporting and packaging the file and keep getting error messages. When I initially open InDesign the document has a distiller message error. I'm not sure what that means but I'm sure it's contributing to the problem. After trying Peter's work around it acted like it was exporting but at the last minute failed to. Other ideas/solutions welcome.

Pocket Tunes and Treo755p - keep getting an error when I try to sync

I just got a Treo755p and I have been trying to add music. I have Windows Vista on my notebook and I hot sync with BlueTooth and with the cable. (I have been using the USB cable when I have been trying to add music.) I downloaded updated Pocket Tunes - version 4.0.7 Bundle. I have music on my Windows Media Player - but when I try to sync with the Treo - I keep seeing the list with Error beside every song. There is no error code. What am I doing wrong?

I banged my head on the wall with the same problem for two days. Tried everything mentioned, and this worked, finally. The problem is that the backup files are not where you think they are.
You need to delete the MobilSync backup folder. I have a Mac. Went to /Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup and deleted the Backup folder.
Fixed the problem. Give it a try and good luck!
