I keep getting Chase Bank ad opening a window in Safari while I am playing a game. I have to keep going back to home and clicking on the game. It happens every few seconds that I can't play the game.
1. Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data
2. Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple Logo

I too have this same gamma switching/ auto contrast error in Quicktime Player and iTunes movie playback and it has been most frustrating for a while now.
For fullscreen video playback it makes both applications completely useless for professional and private use.
I can confirm that when the mouse is moved the effect disappears and the image quality returns to the original state. However this should not be happening and we need to get to the bottom of it for the benefit of others in the future.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my app. This is my last major stumbling block that I have to resolve for this and other forms in the app.
Actually, I did use the Form Wizard for Auto DML to originally create the form. It was great. It created most of the Buttons, Items and Validations automatically (basically most of the page). I just needed to create some Processes and Computations. Two of which were the Processes to update the 'create_dt' and 'created_by' fields and 'update_dt' and 'updated_by' fields. The Create process updates the fields just fine.
However, my problem seems to be that the Hidden 'create_dt' and 'created_by' fields aren't picking up the values from a record that is being editted. Then when I attempt to save the record those fields are NULL, causing the DB NOT NULL constraint to throw an exception for those fields. In the back of my mind I seem to remember seeing some post stating something to the effect that the information in fields with a Source Type of Database Column is just displayed and does not affect Session State items.
Even with that, I am still wondering just why the 'created_by' Page Item shows the value that is in the DB record being updated, but the 'create_dt" does not (as can be seen in my first posting). It is the 'create_dt' Page Item (:P205_CREATE_DT) not having the DB records 'create_dt' info in it that appears to be the problem.

What ever app(website) you are using is written in flash, and is not going to work on an iOS ( or many other) devices.
2 choices.
Get an alternate browser from the App Store. I hear puffin works ok. Will not do everything, so try out what ever you are trying to do on a free version before you buy.
Or
Many sites and special programs will have an app in the store to access their material. Look there and see if the one you are trying to use has one. -

All downloads from iTunes are tied to the account that downloaded it, you can't re-download content via a different account. You checked the spam folder on yourr old account as well as the Inbox, and depending upon how long ago you did it, have you retried getting it reset : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password' ?

Why do I get constant Game Center notifications when I'm playing games? Seriously, if there isn't an easy way to turn off these notifications, I'll be switching to a Microsoft phone at my next upgrade. I don't want this garbage popping up while I play my games. How is Apple ignoring their customers, exactly? If you don't want Game Center, why did you sign into it?
Sign out, launch an enabled game. Game Center pops up, close it, launch the game again, it pops up, close it again.
Now it doesn't pop up any longer.

still running adobe cs2 on leopard. but now get unexpected quit msg. and wont launch. any chance that when i installed then uninstalled GENIEO yesterday something went wrong? how to fix? can i reinstall cs2 from original discs? bystephenftlaud

1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.
Open Console in Applications>Utilities & see if there are any clues or repeating messages when trying to open CS2. -

I had to create a new Apple ID but it won't let me update apps it keeps showing my old account how do I stop that from happening
Apps are always associated with the AppleID that purchased them, you cannot use another AppleID with them,
So in order to update them you must use the credentials that were used to purchase them.
You can chnge the details (Name and Primary email) for an AppleID instead of creating a new one.

Is the iPod still singed into the account isn Settings>iTunes and App Stores and SettingsZ>iCloudl? If it is then I would not be concerned.

For the other "problem", go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and check the box that says Prevent iPod....automatically syncing. -

You can go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, cookies and data and then delete every bookmark and that should clear it temporarily, but it will only be temporary. As soon as you starting using the search again, then suggestions will appear again.
I think that I may have misread your question - if you want to clear all of the history - use the Clear History button in the upper right corner of the History window. You cannot delete one item at a time.
