When you right (control) click on the disk and click eject "disk name", do you pull it immeadiatly or wait a few seconds for it to unmount? Try waiting and see if you get the same message. If you do, when the disk is connected go to applications/utilities/disk utility, after opening DU, select the volume in question from the left side bar and try a permissions repair, you may also run verify disk and see if it comes up with any errors (they will be in red)

I keep getting a not enough space message.

I just downloaded creative cloud to my laptop. I keep getting a not enough space message. Want to purchase a desktop in order to have more space. Can I use cc on two separate computers?
AT first I could not download lightroom or photoshop. I deleted all the pictures in my iPhoto folder and was able to. I only added a few select pictures back to iPhoto. Tried moving them into lightroom (following the tutorial) but message says insufficient space. I'm getting frustrated because I have this awesome thing that I can't use!

This error message indicates that there are one or more components of iTunes that are missing or damaged. Reinstalling iTunes should resolve the issue.

Why do I keep getting a not enough storage message when trying to install GarageBand on my iPhone 4

I have been trying to re-install GarageBand on my iPhone 4. I have tried downloading from iTunes app store and installing by sync from my MacBook. Neither will work. I keep getting the same "not enough storage" message.

You may need as much as 2Gb free, at least on a temporary basis while installing the app.

Trying to open the download for CS6 but I keep getting a "problem has occurred" message and an error code.

I have downloaded both the 4.5G Adobe Creative Suite 6 package and the 1MB .exe unloader but when I try to open them I keep getting a "problem has occurred while extracting some files," message. That is followed by a "problem has occurred while extracting the archive" message. The error code received is "Exception EAccessViolation in module DesignWebPremium_CS6_LS16(1).exe at 0001B836" This is followed a series of addresses. The extractor will not work when running as administrator either. I do not know what to do. I am using a Windows 8.1 PC, any help?

Keep getting firefox not responding for about 2 months now Can any one help me figure out why and fix this?

I'm using windows 7 64 bit system, for past 2 months keep randomly getting firefox not responding. Wait about 10-20 seconds for all tabs to respond.

This is a bad hardware error, Baseband Error. Some have reported getting through this error by Restoring iPhone with the SIM Card removed. Try that. Try restoring with different computer. Search Web some more for other thoughts.

I keep getting "media not present" when tring to burn blu ray disc using PE 10. This used to work fine. Nothing changed as far as I know

Part 1.
1. Task Manager/Process. If you are seeing the following processes with Premiere Elements 10 closed, then Task Manager/Processes and End Task for each of these processes
that you are seeing there
a. Adobe QT32 Server.exe
and
b. Elements Auto Analyser.exe
Part 2.
a. Open Premiere Elements 10 to the Timeline workspace, go to Help Menu/Deactivate and click on Deactivate. Close out of there.
b. Then, uninstall Premiere Elements 10 via the usual Control Panel route.
c. Do a run through with the free ccleaner (regular cleaner and registry cleaner parts).
CCleaner - Download
d. Reinstall Premiere Elements 10 with antivirus and firewall(s) disabled.
Part 3. ccleaner details.
Cleaner part. This is straight forward. Click on the Cleaner Tab in the left column of the ccleaner dialog and then click on Run Cleaner in the section of the dialog to the right.
Registry part. Click on the Registry Tab in the left column of the ccleaner dialog. Then click on Scan for Issues in the section of the dialog to the right.
After the "Scan for Issues" is completed, you will then see an active "Fix Selected Issues" to the right of "Scan for Issues".
Click on "Fix Selected Issues".
At this point, you will see a pop up dialog
Click Yes to that message and continue to Save the registry backup file to your computer hard drive location of your choice.
Follow the on screen instructions after the save of the registry back up file.
Part 3.
The critical part is that you obtain the Premiere Elements 10 installation files. You already have the purchased serial number. So you should be OK on the serial number side of things.
Download and install the Premiere Elements 10 tryout files appropriate to your computer from the following web site. It is critical that you read and care out word for word the web page's write up for "Note: Very Important Instructions" and use its click "here" as instructed. Otherwise you will get an excess denied message.
Photoshop Elements 10 Direct Download Links: Free Trials, Premiere | ProDesignTools
During the installation of these files to your computer, when asked for, insert your purchased serial number into them.
Make sure that antivirus and firewall(s) are disabled for the download and install.
Comments. There are no guarantees that this will resolve the "No Media Present" for Premiere Elements 10 burn to AVCHD on DVD and Blu-ray disc format on Blu-ray disc. In the end, you may have to look at external burners until you find one that works for you for these burn to choices.
Did any of your computer pre-loaded software come with backup installation files? I suspect not.
Please review the above and then let us know if you need clarification on any of the above. You might want to give more consideration to exploring the external burner possible solution.

HT1689 I keep getting "could not sign in" message when trying to enter apple ID password

Whenever I try to log in to download an app, I enter my password correctly & I get a message stating "Could not sign in." Any ideas?

I have had the same problem since updating my home iMac to Lion; funny thing is that my work Mac Pro is also running Lion and it works allright. I am using an AirPort Extreme at home. One would think It would work even better...

"Drive not properly ejected" message pops up constantly, but nothing was connected?????

I am constantly getting that message (approx every 5 minutes) on my iMac27. Simple box pop-up that reuires an acknowlodgement before proceding but it provides NO information on drive, size and I have not plugged OR unplugged anything.
This problem started AFTER i updated all of my iDevices to IOS5... 3 iTouches, 2 iPhones and 2 iPads.

I'm getting a PDP authentication failure message and cannot connect over 3G. Help?!

A few days ago I suddenly started getting an error message when trying to connect to the internet over 3G. "Could not activate cellular data network. PDP authentication failure"
I am in Germany, on Telekom. Have called Telekom customer service and went to the Telekom retail store. Neither could figure out the problem and advised I do a factory restore on the iphone via iTunes. I did that and am still getting the error message.
The only weird thing that happened before the error started showing up is I had called Telekom the night before to add a U.S. data roaming package to my phone plan for an upcoming stateside trip. They told me to text "W2S" to 7277 in order to add the U.S. data roaming plan. I did that, and the next morning this error started popping up. Don't know if that is related or coincidence.
I am traveling to the states in a few days and would really like to get this cleared up. The only option Telekom has left for me is to mail my phone in to Apple. :-(

If I may ask, what country are you from?
To note, what you see is just not possible from a radio communication level, you're the first I've ever seen with this problem. (see photo and footnote below)
Since you said the Carrier option is available, can you go to it, turn off automatic and see what networks show? Normally it you will see At&t and T-mobile, however, if you see Sprint, you will need to go talk to Apple.
But if T-mobile does show, select it and see if your phone connects.
If not, remove the SIM card reboot the phone and try again.
I'm sorry about not being clear about the phone number, while connected to the Verizon network, is the phone number showing your T-mobile one or is it something different?
For reference,
Normally, what you will see in the status bar when on the Verizon network when not on 3G/LTE is the 1X symbol.
GPRS is a completely different communication type from 1X and Verizon doesn't support it. If you visit a Verizon store (or T-mobile) the staff will probably be surprised and confused about what your phone is showing.

"Drive not properly ejected"--How do I keep a USB drive mounted constantly?

I have a 2-month-old iMac, and have had a USB external SATA-enclosure 2.5" 500gb drive attached the whole time. About a week ago, it started randomly giving the "Drive not properly ejected" message and usually it remounts after a few seconds. Sometimes it doesn't and I have to unplug it and plug it back in.
I thought the drive was at fault, so I switched it with a similar drive that was connected to my AirPort Extreme base station. The problem stayed with the Mac. Also I imagined that (somehow) the iMac wasn't supplying enough power, so I bought a powered USB hub. The result is the same.
I don't understand how it can work for two months and then suddenly get this problem. The only change along the line is that about a week ago I did a software update ("About this Mac" says it is 10.6.7). The latest update DOES coincide with the appearance of this problem.
How do I resolve this?
(Notes: There at least one other thread here where people seem to think that this is a Time Machine problem. I think this is because many people connect large external drives for the purpose of backup. I upgraded to iMac from Mac Mini. I installed Snow Leopard right after I bought the iMac and then tried to restore from my Time Machine backup. Something went wrong, so I mirrored my Mac Mini drive onto a 500gb SATA 2.5", put it in a FireWire enclosure and boot from that. I use the iMac's internal 1T drive for Time Machine. That may sound like "lazy man solution", but it could have a great advantage someday where I could plug that FireWire drive into my Mac Mini and not have any downtime should iMac need to be repaired. The random disconnecting of the USB drive doesn't coincide with any Time Machine events. TM is working fine.)

Your hypothesis for the drive/enclosure being a problem is good thinking, however:
-The problem never existed for the first two months I had the iMac.
-I can switch similar drives with iMac and AirPort Extreme, and the problem stays with the iMac.
-It has nothing to do with Time Machine as I am using a FireWire drive to boot, and the iMac internal 1TB for Time Machine.
-A friend suggested a cable problem, but I have tried many combinations and it wouldn't explain why suddenly after 2 months three sets of USB cables can fail at the same time (at least one, I used for 3 years with Mac Mini.)
I now have a 111gb drive connected to my AirPort Extreme and it has been copying files to my FireWire drive slowly but surely for two hours now. The same drive disconnected after 13 minutes on the iMac. All indications are pointing to OSX 10.6.7. The perfect test (for anyone with convenient resources) would be to install Snow Leopard from disc on a clean Mac and not upgrade it, plug in a USB drive and see if it can last a day or two. Then, upgrade to 10.6.7 and see what happens. I hope someone can try this.
(Is this a ploy to try to sell more FireWire equipment? I hope not.)
