just installed PS 13 elements and loaded pictures into organizer. after using PS editor now organizer is not reloading. I keep getting error message saying organizer unexpectedly quit, do you want to reopen. When I click on it to reopen it doesn't and I get the same message again. I rebooted computer, still did it, I uninstalled and reinstalled the program and I am still getting the same error message. This is on Mac OS with yosemite. Any Ideas Please!!!

Trying to make a bootable disc but i keep getting this message as a failure notice. "Could not find any scan information. The source image needs to be imagescanned before it can be restored.", what can I do? Any help at all would be appreciated.
Have you tried scanning the source image? Disk Utility > Images menu > Scan Image for Restore…

"The Following File Could Not Be Imported" Error on iPhone 4 - Unreadable
This just started happening on my new iPhone 4. When importing into iPhoto I get the error "Unreadable Files - The Following File Could Not Be Imported (The File is an Unrecognized Format)". Below that it lists all the pictures that could not be imported. Most recently there were 11 files out of 16 that could not be imported. If I email these files from my iPhone to my .Mac email address they can then be added to iPhoto. Thoughts?
I have the same problem. It seems to come and go. Rebooting the iPhone 4 is not working. When it happened in the past, I was able to import some of the images into iPhoto by "import selected" and choosing a small number of files. It seemed the problem went away (for a while) after did the previous upgrade of the iOS. The problem cropped up again a few weeks ago and has not gone away with the latest iOS update, even after it "rebuilt" the images database. I've also tried using the image capture application with no luck either.
The whole point of getting the iPhone 4 for me hinged on the camera capability. This is getting pretty frustrating as it's a reoccuring problem. -
How do I get my videos to upload from my sony handy cam when I get the message The following file could not be imported. The file is in an unrecognized format. I am using a macbook pro version 10.9.3, I have 411 gb free space, it worked before I downloaded the latest update for iphoto.

No. After upgrading (and of course make a back up first) you will need to update iPhoto to v9.6.1 (you won't be able to do this prior to upgrading). Here's how:
Go to the App Store and check out the Purchases List. If iPhoto is there then it will be v9.6.1
If it is there, then drag your existing iPhoto app (not the library, just the app) to the trash
Install the App from the App Store.
Sometimes iPhoto is not visible on the Purchases List. it may be hidden. See this article for details on how to unhide it.

One question often asked: Will I lose my Photos if I reinstall?
iPhoto the application and the iPhoto Library are two different parts of the iPhoto programme. So, reinstalling the app should not affect the Library. BUT you should always have a back up before doing this kind of work. Always.
Photos is v1 of a new app, as yes it's not as mature as iPhoto. It uses a different technology for working with external editors. That requires Adobe to write an extension to let it hook into the new app. Not done yet, neither has anyone else.
Going forward: iPhoto will run on OS 10.10., but there is no guarantee for subsequent versions of the OS. You might want to factor that into your anger term thinking. -
When I synch my phone or other devices to itunes, I get a message that the following songs could not be synched to itunes because the file could not be converted. However, these are songs that I bought directly from Itunes. Any suggestions?

I understand that you are not able to sync a few songs you purchased from iTunes to your iPhone and other devices. There may be an issue with the file, but if you have the Apple ID and password used to purchase the songs, you can redownload them. You can even download the song directly to your iPhone.
