hello, this sounds like a problem possibly caused by malware on your pc. please go to ''firefox > addons > extensions'' & remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, things that you have not installed intentionally, don't know what purpose they serve, etc). also go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there and run a full scan of your system with the security software that you have in place and different other tools like the [http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free free version of malwarebytes] & [http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/ adwcleaner].

The files listed are: cookies.sqlite cookies.sqlite.bak cookies.sqlite.bak-rebuild. I tried deleting the cookies.sqlite file but I think the cookies.sqlite.bak-rebuild rebuilds it. In any case when I reopened firefox It was the same I still have to sign in all the time.

I keep getting cut out of my e-mails, and I cannot get any yahoo toolbars in my e-mail window

I can be in my e-mail window, and it will just cut me off.
Plus I use to have Yahoo toolbar above all my e-mails so i could copy and past or print an e-mail. Those are now completely gone, and I don't know how to get them back.

I solved my problem. I switched from Yahoo to Google as my home page.
I went to the Google Website, and clicked on the '''Google logo''' and drug it on top of the little house in the toolbar screen. Then I clicked '''yes''' to accept Google as my home page. I had to then restart my computer.
Now, when I clicked Firefox to open my Internet connection, their screen popped up with the Google logo on it. I ignored that, and clicked the '''envelope icon''' and went straight into my e-mails. I now have all my Toolbars back on my e-mail screen. In short, I eliminated Yahoo as my home page, and switched to Google.

Try deleting the cache associated with the App Store.
Quit the App Store if it's open.
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type this exactly as you see it here:
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/Cache.db
Click Go
Move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Launch the App Store. See if that made a difference...

I solved the problem! The updates orignally were downloaded to the C: drive of the server. I've since moved them to the E: drive and for some reason the Content folder in IIS didn't change the file path to the new WSUScontent folder.
The root cause for this was failing to use the UTILITY designed for this very purpose.
I edited the virtual directory settings in IIS and was able to put the correct path in.
You still need to use the UTILITY.. to fix all the other stuff you're still missing.
In the %ProgramFiles%\Update Services\Tools folder...
WSUSUTIL MOVECONTENT E:\WSUS E:\WSUS\MoveContent.LOG -SKIPCOPY
This problem was caused by moving the WSUS updates to a different local drive.

Stop answering calls with blocked numbers. If it's someone who really wants to talk to you, they'll leave you a message and you can call them back.

Something else you can try.
In Finder hold down the option/alt key while selecting the Go menu item. Select Library. Then go to Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist. Move the .plist to your desktop.
Restart and test. If it works okay, delete the plist from the desktop.
If the same, return the .plist to where you got it from, overwriting the newer ones.
If you want to make your user library permanently visible, run the below command in Applications/Terminal.
chflags nohidden ~/Library/
You will need to do that after any updates.

You have limited opportunity to attempt to create a backup of your created files.
That is what the SafeBoot or safemode appears to allow you -- at the moment.
Since the hard disk drive exhibits signs of failure or other major issues, plan
on a replacement in the near future. You may be able to get the computer to
start up in a regular full OS X (not safe mode) but consider its hours are limited.
An externally enclosed hard disk drive (with own power supply, not relying on
Mac ports to run it) is a good basic means of which to use a disk utility to make
a copy or a Clone of the current OS X. This may help retrieve an archive that
could be used along with a Time Machine backup, to restore your Mac once you
get a new hard drive installed inside.
