I keep getting script error messeges!??

the first day i got this lap top i had trouble with it!! its hangs, its slow, it wont play a game i installed, but the worst thing so far is that it keeps putting up error codes on the screen & i have to hit the yes button 5 times to get rid of it...... & the next thing i click on it comes up again & it keeps doing it! im ready to take this lap top back! it cost me $450 & so far its a peice of junk! plus to get hp to fix it ive gotta spend £30 on phone calls & im not happy about that at all........ i wished i hadnt have bought this lap top now! its a pavilion g6 8 gig of ram 1000gig hard drive windows 8 & its brand new & ive had nothing but proplems with it! im discusted so far!!

I contacted the vendor and their reply was "we were told that this looks like a script that is used by "Sticky Password", third-party software that must have been installed on your browser. However, our website did not install it and does not have anything to do with it." As far as I can tell, "Sticky Password" is not installed on my Firefox.
Same problem as above occurs, but with IE 8.0.6001.18702. Therefore, it is not unique to Firefox.

Do you see them in a pop-up (alert) window?
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I keep getting the error message that a script is not working. This is the script that is responsible.

I only get this message playing farmville on facebook.
I also notice that facebook will hang firefox quite easily.
I tried using IE8 with no problems at all. No hangs in farmville or while scrolling on my wall in facebook.

I keep getting script errors regardless of the FF version I'm running. This time it's on 3.6 and the error is Script: file:///C:/Program%20Files/Mozilla%20Firefox/modules/utils.js:1027

I had to downgrade from ver. 4.0 back to 3.6 for my job. This version is the only on compatible with their add-ons and it gives me script errors at least twice a day. The only add-ons I'm running are for work and others who do this job don't have this problem. Using 4.0 I did experience it less often but it wasn't completely cured.

This is typically caused by a problem with the Personas Plus 1.6 add-on and it conflicting with the Google toolbar.
Try disabling the Personas Plus add-on. To do this open the add-ons manager by selecting the Tools menu, then Add-ons. In the list of installed extensions click on Personas Plus, then click on either disable or uninstall.
If you can not access the add-ons manager, follow the instructions in the [[safe mode]] article to start Firefox in safe mode. You should then be able to disable or uninstall Personas Plus. You can find more information on this procedure in the [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] article.

To enable/disable Just-In-Time debugging
On the Tools menu, click Options.
In the Options dialog box, select the Debugging folder.
In the Debugging folder, select the Just-In-Time page.
In the Enable Just-In-Time debugging of these types of code box, select or clear the relevant program types:
Managed, Native, or Script.
To disable Just-In-Time debugging, once it has been enabled, you must be running with Administrator privileges. Enabling Just-In-Time debugging sets a registry key, and Administrator privileges are required to change that key.
Click OK.

   Using DBMS_MGWADM.SET_LOG_LEVEL you can change the log level of MGW dynamically. If you set 0 for log level, you won't get most of these traces.
   ie. DBMS_MGWADM.SET_LOG_LEVEL(DBMS_MGWADM.BASIC_LOGGING)

Unlikely. Based on the complete lack of detail of the issue provided it is entirely possible the same issue would occur.
Unless and until the user provides some actual details of the problem, there is nothing the indicate that the issue is with the iPhone.
