I keep getting shopkick notifications with deleted app
Please Help!!
I Keep getting the location notifications for shopkick even though I already deleted the app. I turned off the location settings when I had the app and that didn't work so I just deleted the app all together and it's still coming up. I have even turned off the location settings in my phone and that hasn't helped either. Nor has turning my phone off and on. I work at a department store and I would like to see the background of my baby while I'm at work, but that stupid shopkick banner never goes away!!
You have to go into your Apple Passbook app. Most people forget this app even exists. Delete shopkick from there.

I have sound turned on under general> sounds. The volume is all the way up and I can hear it when i adjust it. However under notifications sound is not an option for mail or iMessage. Just badges and alerts. Both of which are on. I would really like to hear my notifications. Any suggestions.

Keeping getting an error with-in the App Store. Error 100 saying that my payment can't be received at the time. I updated to Mountain Lion to download the new Logic Pro X. Now left with now recording software and it's not letting me buy the new one.

I have apps in my notification center on for notifications (like News apps), with banner and sounds, but i never get the notification from those apps. I tried reinstalling the app and restarting the phone but all in vain
The apps I currently have are for the i phone and i pad but i would like to see this on this computer
On the Mac Air launch iTunes. Then connect either the iPad or iPhone.
Select the iPad or iPhone under Devices left side of the iTunes window in the source list.
Then select Apps from the menu on the right.
If you don't see the apps listed there, from your iTunes menu bar (top of your screen), click Store > Authorize This Computer.
See if that makes a difference... -
I just downloaded Mountain Lion and everything is working great. But i keep getting an error in the app store and i can't download 'Pages' or any other apps. I keep getting an "error" and it says credit card processing is temporarily unavailable......help
Try deleting the cache associated with the App Store.
Quit the App Store if it's open.
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type this exactly as you see it here:
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/Cache.db
Click Go
Move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Launch the App Store. See if that made a difference... -
I have an app in my app store that is requiring an update but I never purchased the app and when I click update, another apple ID pops up that is not mine. Now i keep getting reminders to update the app and I cant get rid of it from the app store. Help.
You installed a hacked app, originally from the Mac App Store. It contains the receipt for a different app, downloaded using an account that you don't control. You need to identify and remove the hacked app.
Important: The app you need to remove is not necessarily the one named in the App Store notice. For example, if the App Store says you need to update "Twitter," the hacked app may be "Angry Birds" or something else entirely. Don't make any assumptions about which app you're looking for. To find it, you have to carry out a systematic search.
Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it:

A sheet will drop down. In that sheet, select Raw Query and click OK or press return.

The search window will show all the App Store products you've installed. Compare those search results with the list of your purchases from the App Store. To see the complete list, you may need to unhide hidden purchases. If any apps were download from the App Store using other Apple ID accounts that you control, sign in to the store under each of those ID's and check the purchases.
At least one of the items listed in the search window is not among your purchases in the App Store. Move each such item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator password. Empty the Trash.
Log out and log back in. Test. -

Have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the iPod and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. Is there a way to get push notifications for social apps on the Droid Maxx? With text messaging, you will see a badge icon, but I wasn't sure if you could do that for social networks, too.

I can definitely understand how important it can be to get your Facebook or Twitter notifications on your phone.
As @rcshnoor mentioned, each app does have the option to turn the notification on or off. You need to launch the App and go into the Menu. Then go to App Settings and make sure notifications are checked.

I keep getting this notification when I log in to firefox, "Invalid username/password combination. If you continue to get ... - did not match any documents. I just downloaded the latest version of Firefox and now every time i open it I get the above message having to do with my email. The old firefox didn't do this. There is nothing wrong with my yahoo email or password.I was able to resolve this by disabling (under Tools - Add-ons) Yahoo! Mail Notifier

Trying to download itunes onto PC installed with windows vista. Download keeps getting to 99% with 1 second remaining and then freezes / does nothing? Any help appreciated.
I solved the problem! The updates orignally were downloaded to the C: drive of the server. I've since moved them to the E: drive and for some reason the Content folder in IIS didn't change the file path to the new WSUScontent folder.
The root cause for this was failing to use the UTILITY designed for this very purpose.
I edited the virtual directory settings in IIS and was able to put the correct path in.
You still need to use the UTILITY.. to fix all the other stuff you're still missing.
In the %ProgramFiles%\Update Services\Tools folder...
WSUSUTIL MOVECONTENT E:\WSUS E:\WSUS\MoveContent.LOG -SKIPCOPY
This problem was caused by moving the WSUS updates to a different local drive.

Keep getting error 69 with iTunes 5.0, and it wont let me
keep getting error 69 with iTunes 5.0... Im pretty sure its the version's fault, but it wont let me install a previous version I have on CD either.
Even after uninstalling iTunes I get error
"1623: installation failed"
everytime I try to install the older iTunes off my CD.
Is there something extra I have to do completly get rid of 5.0 before I install an older version? like shot my computer?

I have an iphone that is locked to orange and have been waiting over 50 days now for it to be unlocked and keep getting fobbed off with promises to sort it out. I dont know how many calls have been made and am getting really frustrated now.
