I keep getting the error message "The server responded: "403" to operation CalDAVMigrateToServerQueueableOperation" when I open Ical.

ps Ive tried deleting Ical from ICloud, & turning it back on, but it doesn't work.
thanks-

If you are using two step validation then need to set a special log in for iPhoto as it can not handle two step validation
Otherwise in the iPhoto preferences ==> accounts delete your e-mail account and reenter it
OR
IMHO the better solution is to set Apple mail as the email client in the iPhoto preferences

Unlikely.  Based on the complete lack of detail of the issue provided it is entirely possible the same issue would occur.
Unless and until the user provides some actual details of the problem, there is nothing the indicate that the issue is with the iPhone.

  • I keep getting the following error in iCal using iCloud.  Any suggestions as to how to fix it.  Access to "NO PLANS" in "Business" in account "iCloud" is not permitted.  The server responded: "403" to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation.

I keep getting the following error EVERY TIME I use iCal.

Any suggestions how to stop this error.  It is SO annoying.

I have this question too since installing Yosemite. It comes up with messages from a certain machine. All others are accepted without a problem.

Now it keeps saying that it is restored but there is still no music or video on it. And a new error is coming up that says "We could not complete your iTunes store request. The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."

I can't quit iCal on my imac. I keep getting  "the server responded with an error" and I  need to change my password but I can't even quit it to do it.

Can you do a Force Quit?  Right click on it in the dock, then press the option/alt key, and Force Quit should come up in the sub menu.

When I click  revert to server the screen goes back to the same error message.  When I click go off line the error message disappears, but none of my calendar appts. sync with my other devices.

We previously had a similar issue when migrating multiple accounts from MobileMe to iCloud.  The issue was resolved by disabling and then enabling iCal sync through iCloud on our iMacs in System Preferences.
Always backup your calendar before troubleshooting (File > Export > iCal Archive).
The following steps are roughly from a Apple Support Community discussion.
    Open iCloud in System Preferences.
Switch off (uncheck) iCal sync in iCloud System Preferences pane.
Backup iCal before doing this. You will need to remove calendar data.
Open iCal and verify the iCloud account is removed in the iCal preferences under accounts.
Close iCal, reopen System Preference and switch on (check) iCal sync in iCloud System Preferences pane.
Reopen iCal and verify the iCloud account is enabled in the iCal preferences under accounts.
At this point if the problem persists you might try completely signing out of iCloud and then signing back in. But remember to backup all related data (iCal, Contacts, Mail, Photostream, etc) before turning off iCloud sync!

    The server responded with error.
Access to account "virgin net" is not permitted.
    The server responded:
    "403"

    CalDAVAaccountRefreshQueueableOperation.

Please take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Stop when the problem is resolved. Back up all data before making any changes.
    Step 1
In the Internet Accounts preference pane, delete any calendar accounts you don't use.
If there's no improvement, delete all calendar accounts and add them back. With an iCloud account, all you have to do is uncheck and recheck the box marked Calendars & Reminders in the iCloud preference pane.
    Step 2
You may be trying to access an invited event that you declined, or one that was rescheduled after you accepted it. The error message should give you a clue as to what it is. If the calendar is on iCloud, you can bring up the Calendar on the website and select
              Show Declined Events
from the popup menu with the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page. The declined events will appear in gray, and one of them should match what's shown the error message. [Credit for this solution to ASC member Psi.]
    Step 3
If you get the error when trying to accept an invitation in an email attachment, it's because the organizer didn't properly create the event.
    Step 4
Follow the instructions in this support article. Modify as necessary for a calendar that's not on iCloud.

  • ICal error-  The server responded: "403" to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation.

I added downloaded calendar events last week and since I have been getting this error.
    The server responded:
    “403”
    to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation.
I have tried syncing my iCal and no resolution.
    Any suggestions?

I had an event that was rescheduled, and was sent a new invite. desktop iCal had a problem trying to move the old event into the future date. It gave me that message above, the 403 error.
So I went into iCloud online and into iCal there and deleted the old event. Accepted the new event and it worked.
It couldn't automate that for some reason, and I think it has to do with the desktop remote software itself. When I deleted the original off iCal on iCloud, it updated on my desktop immediately.

  • Access to account "iCloud" is not permitted.  The server responded: "403" to operation CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation.

    Hi there,
I am having a very infuriating problem with iCal. Every couple of seconds I get the message:
Access to account “iCloud” is not permitted.
    The server responded:
    “403”
    to operation CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation.
It has made iCal completely unusable. I have tried unpicking various calendars, which makes no difference. Even with all the calendars disabled I keep getting the message.
I hope someone may be able to help me with this.

    Alex,
Quit Calendar, turn off your internet connection, then paste this text ~/Library into the Finder Menu>Go>Go to Folder...window and select "Go." This will open the Users Library Folder.
Open the Calendars Folder which is in that Library Folder, and move any any files with "Cache" listed in the name field to your Desktop.
Next open the Preferences Folder in that same Library Folder and move the com.apple.iCal.plist file to the Desktop.
Log out/in or restart reconnect the internet and open Calendar.

  • "The server responded: "403" to operation

This week i have suddenly got this error,
    "The server responded:
    “403”
    to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation."
when I went to add an event to iCal from the Virgin website. I have done this before with no issues
I have been using Winmail.dat Viewer with no issues until this week. I did just update the app via the app store! I have also sent a quiery to the developer.

What did I do? Many tries, finally start all over. For me it worked.
Backup: total Calendar, but more important: from each Calendar I have, one by one.
Delete preferences: all Calendar-files from the Library
(see post from someone else:           •            /Calendars
              •            /Preferences/com.apple.iCal.plist
If you find other iCal / Calendar referring files, move them also (these were the ones I found): Keep a track of where they came from in case you need to put them back.
    Empty my iCal for 100%
Log out from iCloud (first back up again, addresses, etc.)!!!
I opened all Calenders with a text editor, and deleted items containing the word Error.
Each item starts wit Begin:Vevent and ends with End:Vevent. Save the Calendars.
Then I started from the beginning: I opened iCal, I started iCloud again (some information was still there, so I deleted it), I tried to synchronise: and it worked (synchronising two empty databases, with only one Calendar which I named Calendar, yes)
Then one by one, I added new Calendars to iCal, empty ones, immediately checking if they showed up in www.icloud.com. And they did. Then I imported the backup-file is this empty calendar, first the calendar smallest in size. And so one by one I have built it up again, each time making a back-up from iCal, just to be sure.
So far it works fine. So communication between Imac and iCloud works. Now I am a bit anxious what will happen with my iPhone and iBook…. I will try iBook first, deleting preferences, emptying all I can, and then logging in at iCloud: and yes, it works!!
Ridiculous that this takes so much effort. I have always been an Apple fan for the last 10 years, but now I am not so sure anymore, this all looks like the standard windows-complications, though I have heard that they are getting better all the time.
    Please do something, Apple!

  • What does 'Access to "CLOUT / Robert Owens" in "Jay Paradis" in account "iCloud" is not permitted.  The server responded: "403" to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation.' mean?

I keep getting an error in my iCloud calendar that reads:
Access to “[appointment name]” in “[calendar name” in account “iCloud” is not permitted.
    The server responded:
    “403”
    to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation.
What does this mean and how do I fix it? Thanks!

First, try the simple fix: back up all data, then uncheck Calendars & Reminders in the iCloud preference pane. Check it again. Test.
If there's no change, see whether any of these fixes is applicable:
server error "access is not permitted"
    ical 403 server error

  • CalDAV Server: Access to account "NAME" is not permitted.  The server responded: "403" to operation CalDAVRemoveCalendarQueueableOperation.

I am running SL Server 10.6.8 and have a problem with only one iCal server account (mine).  I am unable to delete a calendar that I created. I can rename it (was called "Home" and changed it to "Delete Me"). I can create new calendars and have one called "Home" and another called "Work" which I can also rename and delete without any problem.  However, when I try to delete my original "Home" calendar, now called "Delete Me" it warns me that I will loose any appointments so I know iCal thinks there are events in the calendar otherwise it would not give that prompt. However, when I go to the year view and scan forward and back approx 20 years there are no events to be seen. I then confirm that I want to delete the account and then I get the following error with the option to "Ignore" or "Go Off-line"...
Access to account “NAME” is not permitted.
The server responded: “403” to operation CalDAVRemoveCalendarQueueableOperation.
If I ignore the calendar simply reapears and if I go off-line my calendar stops syncing and remains off-line until I try to take it back on-line at which time I get the above error again.
Any ideas how to fix this?  I think it is because of this calendar I am unable to access my calendar via web as well. All other accounts on the server are able to but mine but going to eat this elephant one bite at a time and then resolve the ical web access afterwards.
Any help is greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

    Found solution!!!!
After trying to delete the calendar "family" multiple times and reading through some threads... I was able to figure out that the "Family" calendar that we can't seem to delete is corrected to FAMILY SHARING.  Here is what I did:
    Went on my iPhone 5S
    1.Go to Settings
    2. Scroll down to iCloud; and click on it
    3.Click on "Family"
    4. Click on your name at the top (has to be the organizer, i think)- I was the organizer so it worked
    5.Stop Family Sharing
    6. Stop Sharing
Now you can go to your calendar app and delete it! here is how in case you don't know
    1. Click on Calendar app
    2. Click on the word "Calendars" in middle of screen
3.Click on "Edit" at top left hand corner of screen
    4. Scroll down to the calendar you want to delete and click on it
    5. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click "delete calendar"
    DONE!!
If you  are using your calendar on a mac like I was.... hence why it took sometime to figure this out.  You have to stop family sharing from iPhone (if you can do it on the mac- more power to you, I didn't try figuring that out) and then you can go on your mac (if your connect to WI-Fi):
right click the calendar you want to delete,
select delete and it should go away!
    yay!! hope this helps!!

  • Access to account "iCloud" is not permitted.  The server responded: "403" to operation CalDAVRemoveCalendarQueueableOperation.

Access to account “iCloud” is not permitted.
    The server responded:
    “403”
    to operation CalDAVRemoveCalendarQueueableOperation.

It should synch despite the error messages, at least when you enter your appointments with iOS (iPhone, iPad) but I think (not sure) also when on OS X (Mavericks and Yosemite).
The very annoying 403 error messages (every few seconds) for a number of iCloud users are there since mid September. This is a month now !
This total iCal disaster is very clearly an error on the server side of iCloud. It works on the iCloud.com webpage though.
Don't waste your time and nerves searching for mistakes on your iMac.
tags: annoying, Apple is not meant for serious work, disaster, 30 days of disaster, iCal, iCloud, error 403,
