I opened iTunes today to find that at some point, it had downloaded everything a second time, with the duplicates having the iCloud symbol next to them. As a result, all of my albums now have every song twice. How do I stop this??

This is extremely annoying as I have over 100 albums and I have to manually go through and 'hide' each duplicate. Attatched is an example:
Not only that, but every time I sync my iPad/iPod's with my PC, the same happens on those devices, with albums copied on twice!!
Any help on resolving this annoyance would be greatly appreciated,

Have you installed any applications recently? A task killer maybe? You can try rebooting the phone and see if that helps.

There are different ways, but delete that email account and this time when you go to set up your email, dont start in the yahoo setup tab, do it in the " Other " tab and set it up that way.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

This message appears (with a different .emix number) when I try to delete any mail. I have junk mail from 2014 to 2009 that I want to delete

If they are you are one of many that have problems with the apple mac mail app where all of a sudden it just stops working.
If that is the case I suggest you try a different mail program.

In using it, I found out other's have had this issue and it likely means you have a 3G iPad? If you do, go into settings and turn off cellular data, then try to update again and you should be OK........

Which way are you trying to update? WiFi or iTunes? In either case, I would try restarting/rebooting all devices and then try again.
IF you are using iTunes, eject your iPad, quit iTunes, reboot your computer and reset your iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons until the Apple logo appears on the screen. After the iPad starts up, connect to iTunes and try again. You may also want to disable your firewall and antivirus software when you try to update using iTunes. Sometimes those will interfere with the download.
If you are using WiFi, reset the iPad as described above and try again.
If WiFi updating will not work, try using iTunes, if iTunes will not work, try using WiFi.

First take the steps recommended in this support article. If there's no change, continue as follows.
Back up all data.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Right-click or control-click the line and select
Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item selected. Quit the application if it's running. Move the selected item to the Trash. Relaunch the application and test.
