I keep getting the "You've been signed out" message - Cannot login to download apps

I keep getting the "You've been signed out" message, even after the CC update. I created a new account today, and have tried uninstalling and reinstalling CC, but nothing has changed.
Can't log into my account = can't download or access the apps I need for work.
After checking the forums, this seems to have happened to quite a few people. I wouldn't be so antsy if it weren't for the fact that I need to access a project immediately.
The chat isn't working, so someone PLEASE HELP!!
Val

Ok, so I had to resort to Twitter, but a lovely person by the name of Britt at @AdobeCare gave me a hand we were able to solve the issue. I'm posting the links she sent me, hopefully they'll be of use to anyone who encounters the same issue.
Solution 2 is what did it for me:
http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/unknown-server-error-launching-cc.html
I'm on a Mac, and the only problem I encountered was that I couldn't reach the Library folder from my User Name (I think the folder was hidden) which was preventing me from finding the opm.db file that needed to be deleted.
If this happens to you, try this:
Open Finder, click Go (next to File, View, Edit, etc) and click Go to Folder...
Then type in /Users/[insert your profile name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
That'll reveal the opm.db that needs to be deleted.
Click here for other ways to find the hidden folder: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/access-hidden-user-library-files.html
This is what ultimately worked for me. After deleting that .db file, I relaunched CC and signed in without a problem.
Hope this is useful to someone!

I've discovered that connecting a certain USB external disk will trigger it every time. So I don't do that, and it stopped. Others have reported that changing network connection triggers it equally reliably. Could be coincidence, but one might begin to suspect that a slight change in hardware status sends the wrong signals.
I found the possible correlation with plugging, or unplugging, USB devices when I was looking for a solution when it happened to me.  It just so happened that that was the day I decided to try my Lazer Mamba on my desktop, so that went to the top of my list of possible causes.  But when you think about it, it is incredibly lame to blame USB devices for such problems.
As it happened, removing the Lazer mouse made no difference.
Incidentally, for anyone who suffers this and is using Windows 7, I took the cautious approach and tried to rename opm.db to opm.db.bak but Windows would not let me because the file was in use.  So I restarted the computer and tried again with the same result.  In the end I followed the instructions on the help page, and deleted the file, which Windows 'did' let me do.  That is one of those 'go figure' situations IMO

  • Creative Cloud /  You've been signed out message

On one of my computers I still have this issue with logging in and being told I have been signed out.
I have version 2.3.0.322, running Mac OSX Mavericks.
What do I do? I have tried everything, uninstalling, reinstalling. I am able to sign on from my server, but not my regular home computer.
Is there a file I need to find and remove? Run something in terminal? Any help is appreciated!

  • "You've been signed out" error every time I try to sign into Creative Cloud desktop application.

I keeping getting a "You've been signed out" message everytime I try to log into the Creative Cloud desktop application.
I have tried the following to no avail:
Uninstalling and reinstalling the Creative Cloud app.
Renaming the OOBE folder to OOBE-old.
    Deleting everything in the SLCache.
All of the above were suggested either on these forums or by support. None have worked.
I am on a team membership.
I am currently using Adobe Creative Suite CS5.5.
I am on a Mac running Mavericks (OSX 10.9).
Nothing seems to be working and I have been passed from department to department on the support chat window thing.
Someone, for the love of God, please help.

CM_Martketing and MikeBanks are correct, but I think what is confusing some people is that they are mistaking their Mac HD for the user name. I kind of had to mash up 2 posts to get it right:
1: Open Activity monitor from spotlight and end all Adobe related processes. You may find processes like AAMupdater, AAMupdater notifier, Adobe Crash demon process.
2: Open Finder and navigate Macintosh HD/Users/[your user name]/Library (the library folder might be grayed out, just right click and select open)
3: Now navigate to Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/.. folder.
4: Delete opm file under OOBE.
    5: Rename OOBE to OOBEold.
6: Check if you have AAMupdater in the adobe folder.
7: Please rename it to AAMupdaterold.
8: Click on gear icon on Creative Cloud desktop app and choose Quit Creative Cloud.
9: Then launch it, sign-in and click on Apps tab.
It worked perfectly! Thanks everyone, I've been trying to figure this out for a month!

  • "You've been signed out" CC Message

My CC Desktop Application manager became signed out last night, and responded with the 'You've been signed out' message every time I tried to log back on.  So I had a Google and found the 'Delete opm.db' tip.  I tried to be caucious and just add a .bak to the file name, but I was not allowed to because it was in use.  I evntually just deleted it, and was indeed able to log back on to the Desktop Application manager, (DAm)
So all was well, except if I close the DAm for any reason, or restart the computer, I so far have to go back to App data\local\Adobe\OOBE\  and delete opm.db again to be able to sign in to the DAm.   That is not right.
I also found the Run the IMSLib Replacer (WINDOWS only) tip which suggest a link to USB devices being plugged in or unplugged, and I have a possible corilation with that because I had added another mouse (Razer Mamba) to the system not long before the initial problem.  I have not tried running ISLMLibReplacer.exe yet, although I have unplugged the Razer mouse.
So It looks like I can get by, but I would obviously like to be free of needing work-arrounds.
    I'm running 1.5.1.369
    Windows 7 Pro
    Full CC subscription
Everything is up to date, with the exception on an InDesign 9.2.1 update.  My bandwidth is pants, so I am leaving that update for when I can spare the bandwidth.
Thanks for any tips or suggestions
    Trevor
