Two Macs, same document, but one cant identify fonts?

Hey there!
Im workin on my workin place with InDesign CC. At home, my laptop is workin with InDesign CS6. My laptop is a new mac book pro. My working station is a mac-desktop.
Now, the problem:
I took the fonts from the mac-desktop and ive installed them on my mac book pro. Ive saved some sample-sites to work with them on my macbook pro. but now, after workin on it, i sent it back to my working-station and there some fonts coould be identified. Why?
Ive seen that, after clicking on the red spaces, that it is written "Gotham Narrow TT", where on my macbook, the same isnt written. There stands just "Gotham Narrow". But that cant be the problem, cause its absolutely the same font. i mean, ive copied it from the main station...!?
So, what can i do now? Same font, zwo macs, but they cant handle together!?!?
Please be carefull with the language. Im swiss, so maybee i dont understand some technical language, even i speak not that bad...

Get current directory(without user.dir)!!!!

need help badly... i need to get the current directory of the jar file where it gets launched from. Since the launching takes place from an html file, the system property "user.dir" does not get set to the current directory. Both the html as well as the jar file is in the same location.
so in short, i need to get the current dir without using the user.dir that i can later set it explicitly thru my program(to the current dir)

Also, the reason i wanna know is this : my jar file references all the images that it uses, thru a relative path(./a/b/c.....). So wen i simply double click the jar file, the relative path("./") gets replaced with the current workin directory(from user.dir) and fetching of images works perfectly. But if it is launched via html, the user.dir does not get set to the current working dirctory and as a result the jar file looks for its images in the default location which is the desktop. so it doesnt work
Now that the context is clear, is there a way out???? or is there any way in which i can set the user.dir from the html itself(maybe by using javascript or somethin??)

My ipad2 has freezed

I was going through a video site where multiple things were being loaded at the same time like advertisements along with the very video. Suddenly, my ipad2 freezed such that the touch isn't workin, not even the sleep or home button is working, infact all buttons and everything with the device has been freezed. Please advice me of a solution to restart it and to make it normal again.

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
If you were using Safari and if the above works, then when the iPad restarts try clearing Safari's cache as well : Settings > Safari > Clear Cache (and Clear History)

If you dont have none option then you must own itunes some money. So you have to enter the payment like a itunes giftcard. you can contact itunes by email by going to expresslane.apple.com

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

HT201210 I have tried to update to IOS6 and it has prompted me to connect to ITunes but when I do I keep getting the message ' There is no sim card inserted in the Iphone you are trying to activate'. My phone is now locked on the IOS6 update screen!

I have been without mu IPhone 4 since yesterday now as I tried to do the IOS6 update and since then it has messed up my phone and I am unable to access any of it's functions as it is locked on the update screen.
My phone was bought through Vodfone and have been on their network ever since, never had any problems like this.
It prompts me to connect to ITunes and when I do it will not go any further as stating 'No sim card is inserted in the IPhone you are trying to activate'. Well there is a sim in there and I have removed it and reinserted it on many occasions today. I am also not trying to activate my phone as all I did was try to the update which I was prompted to do in my setting!
I have seen many people on the net today with the same or similar problems but as yet I am to find a solution!

Try a Hard Reset.....

Is the same true for using the App Store with a desktop machine? Someone installed a program on my machine (the IT department) and I would like to install the updates but it was installed under a different Apple ID. This anyone know how to change, or work around this particular issue?

The only available, signed, iOS, for your iPod, is iOS 7.1. That's why you can't install iOS 6.1.6.

Apps will always be tied to the account from which it is purchased and will always have to updated suing that account.

It must have found the old backup corrupt.. so you will more than likely have little choice. You can archive off the old backup if it is still useful.
