I like to keep my bookmarks as a sidebar and I don't know how to put it back on.
Before you made changes to the program there was a view button that I could click to view my bookmarks as a sidebar. I can't find how to do that now. It made things so much easier.
Hit the '''Alt''' to show the Menu Bar, with the View menu. <br />
Or use '''{ Ctrl + B }''' to open the Bookmarks Sidebar.

Thank you for the info re. the main menu. Your answer I used worked; however, the menu bar all the way across is solid black. The only way I can find out the names on the menu is to point the cursor from left to right over the black bar to find "file" "edit" tools", etc. What do I need to do to get these menu titles to be seen?
As regarding the GMail --the menu bar used to have an envelope symbol which was white and outlined in red. That disappeared. I googled "mail.google.com" to try to get back my email. This didn't work. I then tried to get a different email address and password--after 8-19 attempts, this never worked. My other email (sbcglobal.net) has never returned. So I don't know where that went or how to get it back -
My 3GS keeps switching between iPhone speaker and Dock connector and I don't know how to keep it on iPhone speaker so I can listen to my music and games. Is it hardware or software problem?
I was told by a friend that sometimes when you use a 3rd party charger that the connectors are not the same size and so it can affect the sensors in the phone and make it seem like it is in a docking station and so changes the output for dock speakers. With that said, I didn't take my pohone in to be serviced at the appple store because it was a 3GS and over 2 years old and so not covered by any service plan. Since then my phone is back to normal and I can use my headphones and listen with the speakers on the phone. I stoped using the suspected cheap 3rd party charger and maybe that's what did it, but not sure if it was or wasn't the cause of my problem. I'm glad that my phone is better I was kinda holding out for the Iphone 5 when i comes out later and hope my phone lasted until then.

I am not able to open your answer for some reason my computer is not opening it in Explorer, it’s not responding and I keep getting error messages and I don’t know how to open it in another browser when Explorer experiencing issues.

Can anyone help me? my ipod touch says it is connected to wifi, but it won't run anything that uses wifi like safari or itunes, and I don't know how to fix it
You didn't indicate if it ever worked. If it NEVER did, the problem could be caused by a firewall in the router. For reasons that I do not understand, that will affect IOS (iPod/iPad) communication but will not affect computers or other devices.
You will need administrative access to the router. If a firewall is present, turn it off and test the iPod again. If it works, turn the firewall back on but weaken it a notch and test the iPod again. Repeat as required. -
Hi. I tried switching my Apple ID email address to my new email address and I don't know how to switch it for iCloud and iTunes. Please help!! It seems like Apple thinks I have two separate accounts, when I just tried to simply change it!

I want to keep my Bookmarks separate from my Favorites but do not know how to do it.
I am not having error problems. In the past I used IE for my browser but now use Firefox. I have Windows 7, I would like to have a separate category for My Favorites from Bookmarks. I cannot find any reference as to how to do this or if it can be done. Please advise

It is self explanitory When I try to go online it keeps saying it is in the offline mode and won't go online I have tried several times .Firefox is my main internet site and the earlier ones do work like a dream .
Does File > Work Offline has a check mark when that happens?
You can try to create a new Boolean pref with the name network.manage-offline-status and set the value to false.<br />
Right-click on the about:config page to open the right-click context menu and use "New > Boolean" to create a new Boolean pref.

I saved my old bookmarks as part of my regular backup from my old computer. It died this week and I just bought a new computer. The instructions for importing an html file with bookmarks says to open the Organized Bookmarks tab under Bookmarks. My computer does not have this bookmark and I can't find anywhere else how to import the html file with my old bookmarks. The old computer used Windows XP and this one has Windows 7.
"Organize Bookmarks" has been renamed to "Show All Bookmarks" in the bookmarks menu. The rest of the instructions will be the same.

VoiceOver is a great feature on the iPhones. I am sorry you are not able to turn it on. You have come to the right place. When you go into VoiceOver and you hit OK. Then double tap where it says on. This will turn this feature on. If you are wanting to remove the feature you would do the same thing but double tap on the OFF.

I can't go to file, edit, bookmarks as that toolbar is no longer there at the top. The first one i have now is the back and forward, refresh buttons and the home etc ... plzzz can anybody help me to get the main top settings back ???
