I am not using mobile me it is not letting me to send e mail messages so I like to uninstall it
You probably know that mobilme goes away in June this year. There are two ways to access your mail account on iCloud, either through Lion or via the web. Web access won't get you to all the benefits of iCloud but will allow you to get to Mail, Contacts, Calendar, and Find My iPhone. See this FAQ: http://www.apple.com/mobileme/transition.html
If you decide to go with Lion, the maximum memory you can install is 4GB, however the system will only use 3GB, which is enough to run Lion. Lion requires 2GB, however, some have not been satisfied with it's performance in 2GB. One source for memory is OWC at http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/memory/MacBook/DDR2/

I would like to uninstall or otherwise safely remove any applications that make my MB Pro run slowly. Make sure you are dealing with the correct product for the serial number. If the serial number is for a full creative suite then you need to get the suite, not the individual application, and vice versa.
Unrelated to that, in case it helps, here is a link to another site. You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

i just updated my latest java but the update is causing problems with some external devices. So i would like to uninstall this latest java update and get back the previous one. That should solve to problems with my external device.

We change it, but every time we close Firefox it goes back to the Persona we changed it from when we start up Firefox again. I was just planning on uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, but, like I said, I don't want to lose my bookmarks. How do I save my bookmarks in Firefox 4?
You could always remove/disable the Persona that you don't want. Go to Add-ons > Appearance, and then just disable/remove the offending Persona.
Though, if you really want to save your bookmarks:
Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Which will open the Library > Look for Import and Backup > Backup...> and it will prompt to you save the file somewhere. To add them back into Firefox, go back to the library > Import and Backup again > Restore > Choose File... > and then open the file you saved earlier. -

Hello, I purchased Adobe as a download a few years ago and installed in on a Mac Pro. I would like to uninstall it on that mac and install it on a new Mac Pro. Any idea how I can do that?
Just download, install, and activate using your serial number. You are allowed to have the software installed and activated on two machines. If you do not wish to retain the original installation as a backup you can deactivate it by opening one of the programs and choosing Help -> Deactivate.

Installed HandyCafe. Didn't like, so uninstalled it. Now I can't change startup homepage option. Manually deleted handycafe registry entries. Changed homepage from about:config. Still nothing. It's really bad that another app, even though it's uninstalled, can override your program settings like this. Firefox is my favourite browser, but I can't be taken to advertising each time I want to use it sorry. Using Chrome now.

Strictly from the point of view of removing a version no longer wanted on a computer, Deactivate and then Uninstall which are not the same
a. In an opened project, Help Menu/Deactivate or Help Menu/Sign Out (depends on version)
b. Then uninstalling from the computer the usual Control Panel way (assumes Windows).

*i've managed to download quicktime, but am still unable to download itunes. after reaching a certain point in downloading itunes, (about 1/3 of the way?) it stops at "copying files", and my computer freezes and i have to hold the power button in order to shut it off and do anything, or i get a popup asking me if i want to change something so itunes can finish downloading. i click "yes", but then the download stops completely and i get a message saying "itunes has finished downloading, but with errors" and it tells me to download it again.

I have downloaded MAMP for Mac and want to use it for working with Wordpress. I'm on an Imac with Maverick OS 10.9. I had mysql installed before this and would like to uninstall it and use MAMP. It was easy to turn off Apache and PHP but don't know how to uninstall mysql. Please help!!
It depends on how you installed it. You have to shutdown the MySQL service first. If you used the standard, but obsolete Startup Item, you can do that with the Startup Item. If you created a launchd script, you can do it with launchctl. Once MySQL is no longer running, you can delete the Startup Item or launchd script and the rest of MySQL.

You are allowed to have two activated installations, so if you prefer to you can keep ut on the current machine and just install it on the new one like you did originally. If you wish to eliminate it on the other machine, the first thing to do is to deactivate it by opening a program in the suite and selecting Help -> Deactivate in the top toolbar. That is all you need to do to disable the software. At this point if you prefer to you can uninstall it if you like.
As far as getting it on the new nmachine, as I just indicated, just install it like you did the first time. -
