You can set the Interface Language via the Search settings link on the http://www.google.com/ncr site. That should work for the Google Firefox page as well.<br />
That setting is stored in a Google PREF cookie that you need to keep (allow).

It may have something to do with IncrediMail. So check this discussion.
Check your browser's extensions/add-ons for a add on you don't recognize (possibly one named MyStart). If you find such an add on delete it and restart your browser.

The ONLY way to remove this data from your phone, is to restore your phone as a new device in iTunes, NOT from backup. You either do that, or you live with it. Currently, there is no way to edit this data on any iPhone.

iDVD is not involved in the process at all.
What you want to do is create a data disk on a DVD. That's done by inserting a blank DVD disc in the optical drive, Option+drag the files you want to backup onto the disc icon on the desktop and then drag that icon to the Trash bin in the dock which turns into the Burn feature.
Try that (the Option+drag and see if you can get your files to burn.

Boot off your *original* Install Disk while holding down the *d key*, (not c key), then run the extended Apple Hardware Test. Some disks require you to use the Option key at bootup to select AHT. Some models have a separate AHT CD. Some have it on the Disc #2.
The Memory test can really only be trusted if it finds a problem, not if it doesn't find a problem.

Ok you can reset the stream from www.icloud.com
Goto www.icloud.com
Login with your iCould username and password.
and login
Then click on your name in the top right hand side of the screen next to sign out,
it opens a window Account details with Language, Time Zone, Advanced
Select Advanced - Then click Reset Photo Stream. and confirm, the stream will be reset and totally deleted

You can delete the empty one by dragging it to the trash ( test everything before emptying the trash)
Merging libraries requires iPhoto Library Manager - http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/ - it is the only current solution to merging libraries

How do I remove the WiseConvert B Community toolbar from Firefox? It has suddenly appeared and even though I open FireFox > View>Toolbars> deselect Wise Convert etc. it reappears when I reopen FireFox. Can't find anything in any of my files about it.

If you select Add-ons from the Tool menu, do you see this "WiseConvert" thing as a plugin or extension? If so, you can just disable it from there...

Problem with the computer's PRAM - See Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM.
Boot drive's directory has been corrupted - Repair with Disk Utility.

The disk drive is physically non-functional - Replace the hard drive.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.

Install Firefox and the Add on called Ad Block Plus, subscribe to the "Easy List" (almost automatic)
When the image appears again, right click on it and there will be a Ad Block Plus menu option which you then can block the image server.
Ad Block Plus is wonderful at blocking all sorts of image servers
