I'll be impressed if someone knows why this timeline problem happened.

I have a sequence of twenty clips that I've just moved from v1 to v2 so I can place another clip on v1 and using the blade cut out parts of the v2 track to show v1. (The clips now on v2 are close up shots of a speaker and the clip on v2 is a wide shot. I used two cameras with the same timecode.) When I moved v1 up to v2 the content of the first shot changed! Why? I'm utterly baffled. Anyone seen this before. I also haver a warning agt the other end of the sequence that the sound is 2.5 minutes out of sync. It's not.

I would do but I'm picking something up from someone else and this really is the simplest solution. Still baffled why this happened but working round it.

Mrhelper is corret with regards to making sure that mobile data is turned off when on WiFi or when not connected to WiFi, if you do not want the phone to access data services to update or refresh app services. These applications can all be configured by going to Settings and reviewing all apps that appear in that area. You can also configure a bit further by going to Settings>Cellular.

Which version of 6? Check the slide quality, if it is at Low, push it to High or Optimized. Then uncheck all compression settings in Preferences, Project, SWF Size and Quality.

Im getting backup corrupt after being told by apple to go to 6.1.1 due tothe known battery issues. Anyone know why this might be happening?

Hi all, I recently went to 6.1 and immediately experienced the well publicised issue with battery drain. Rang Apple, followed their recommendations, perform backup, then wipe the phone, then set up as new on 6.1.1, drain battery to zero, then charge for 8 to 10 hours. Then restore from backup. Except first time doing it it said that there was not sufficient memore on the PC, (12gig is free), and now its saying itunes could not restore as either the backup is corrupt or not compatible with the iphone bing restored, thats not the case as its the same iphone. Does anyone have any thoughts or am i in trouble!!

If the backup is corrupt, there is nothing that can be done with that backup.
Restore as new.
All of your content should be in iTunes, simply sync it back.

My App Tabs aren't saving when I close Firefox, they're gone when I re-open. Anyone know why this might be happening?

Just downloaded Firefox 5 and love the App Tabs concept. I right click, Pin as App Tab, then close Firefox. When I re-open it, there aren't any pinned App Tabs.

App (pinned) tabs and Tab Groups (Panorama) are stored as part of the session data in the file sessionstore.js in the Firefox profile folder.

Make sure that you do not use [[Clear Recent History]] to clear the "Browsing History" when Firefox is closed because that prevails and prevents Firefox from opening tabs from the previous session.

Is this a particular sender, or all of your attchments? Google winmail.dat and you will see a number of returns that can explain this, but in short, this is the way some e mail providers deal with attachments. If all of your e mail is coming that way, you need to change a setting on your isp set up. Perhaps stary here...
