You should still have the old version in your App Folder.

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

Go to your Applications/ Utilities folder. Finder the upgrader app. Double click it to run it.

I've rebooted 6x already today and i'm dying without my internet. I even had to download the google chrome because I'm at work and NEED to listen to grooveshark!!

It shouldn't be necessary to reboot the computer to complete an update. 
If a reboot is needed then that usually means that some (security) software is blocking files or you need elevated (UAC) permissions. 
Run the Firefox program once as Administrator (right-click: Run as Administrator). 
If that doesn't help then do a clean reinstall.
* Download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
* Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
* Don't remove personal data if you uninstall the current version.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere (not in the Firefox program folder) and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

It's not the Mac that's the problem, it's your OS. For Tiger you can only use FF v3.6.13 which is the last version for PPC Macs and Tiger.
If you want to go any higher you will need to upgrade to Leopard or SL or you can download TenFourFox G5 which is what I use on my Tiger G5 iMac. It's actually FF for PPC Macs and those who are still using the older OSes.

Go to msn.com for example: at the top of their page they have clickable link to hotmail. When I upgraded to Firefox 7 this link no longer works. For the original poster (OP), try posing in the iTunes form since now you have an iTunes problem, not an iPod problem.

I loaded the newest version and it only shows an hourglass and then says it could not open. HELP! I cannot run a crash report either.

Firefox worked before though at times encountered a problem and had to close. Now I've loaded the newest version and it won't even fully load without having to close. I plugged in the crash item id that HELP forum instructed, and the report said it could not proceed. SO I'm not experienced in any of this and don't know how to make it work.
