I locked my iphone and have forgotten my pass code
i locked my iphone an have forgotten my passcde. how can i get back into my phone
If you forgot (or don't know) your passcode, restore the device from backup on the last computer it was synced with when the passcode was turned on... this will remove the passcode.
If you do not have access to the last computer it was synced with, or you don't have a backup, you will have to force it into recovery mode & restore as a new device. At this point, you will lose all data on the phone.

I am using a very old iPhone and have forgotten my password. Is there anyway to get passed the lockout screen? It says to connect to iTunes but when I do nothing happens. I've read through the user guide and am at a loss.
Bypass & Reset the iPhone Passcode
Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, leave the other end connected to your Mac/PC
Launch iTunes
Press and hold the Home and Power button on the top of the iPhone to turn off the device
Press and continue to hold the Home button while you reconnect the USB cable to your iPhone, this will cause the iPhone to turn on
Continue to hold the Home button until an alert message in iTunes appears that an iPhone in recovery mode has been detected
Now that the iPhone is in recovery mode, you must restore the device:
From iTunes, look under the “Summary” tab
Click on the “Restore” button within iTunes -

Hi. Little child locked my iphone and forgot the passcode!
Will iCloud back up pics still? i guess I have to reset? Solutions? she cannot remember the code.
Thank you!Hey met,
You will have to restore the phone to get back in. Restore it from a backup.
iCloud still has your stuff, and I believe that backups continue as before.
Moral: Don't tell your child your passcode! -

NaveenRecovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times. -
I have set a new pass code and now it wont work I really dont want to do a restore and lose all of my info on my Ipod hopefully someone can help.
Yes there is Left click mouse on the picture. List a peers open in Windows Live Gallery click on fix make adjustments and print or save picture. One way. A nother way is opening it up in Microsoft Office 2010 and click on tools and enable tool bars. Some pinters have photo software included and so does your camera software. To add text to photos open it up in paint. I hope this answered your question. Plus their is Snapfish but I nevered used it.

i have reset my iphone but cant retrieve the id from which i logged in to icloud, is there a way to start my phone without it, ive been trying for a very long time. please help!
Ok, when you said "found" I took that literally. Still, the activation lock cannot be bypassed, Apple cannot do anything to assist with that. You need to go through all of her papers and see if she wrote down the Apple ID and password as there is no other way to make the iPhone usable.

I gave my Mom an iPad. She has created an Apple ID (twice) and forgotten her pass code. She has now been locked out and told her "iPhone is disabled". How do I help her? We are 2 provinces away from each other!
She is 75 and frustrated! How do I walk her through this?

On the other hand, if you are trying to restore your iPhone and are being prompted for an Apple ID and password, you iPhone may be Activation Locked. If that is the case, you may find this article more useful:
