that used to happen to me all the time! I would recommend going to a different sight or attempting to download it again ( you may have missed a step it can be tricky).

After the last update that was pushed out by Adobe, my Acrobat 9 Pro will not generate a PDF file from; [right click], Combine files into one PDF multiple files chosen in the explorer. A message pops up asking if I want to run repair. Answering in the afirmative results in another message stating files are missing. And we are back at square one.

What is the exact error? Else you could always reinstall your software.

I do not need an adobe online account. I though I was updating acrobat when I downloaded a program from your site. Some of my features appeared to be lost after that, but there was a suggestion to sign in to adobe online. I thought I had to do that to get the features I was used to using (extract pages, etc.). Turns out I was in a new program: Reader. I did not need to be signed in on line at all. I think I clicked keep me signed in. I do not want to be signed in. I also gave you my email address and real birthday. I do not want adobe online to have that or track me. Please tell me (1) how to sign out of adobe online, (2) not be tracked by adobe; and (3) get my real birthday out of your records. Thank you.

This is a user to user forum, not a way of addressing Adobe. As to your specific questions, I don't know what you mean by "Adobe on line", so I cannot suggest how to sign out of it. And I don't know of any commercial firm that will agree to completely erase all your data from their records, so I wouldn't expect you to find any way to acomplish what you ask in (2) and (3).

Is it the Download assistant that is freezing or is it the web browser that freezes?

Exporting forms out of Adobe into a new provider

Is there something I should know about exporting Adobe forms out of Adobe and into a new forms service provider. I've tried to do it following the other providers instructions and it doesn't work. Are exporting forms out of Adobe not possible, being disabled, etc?

When you ask how to export pictures out of Photoshop, would you like to know about how to save files in different formats, or export Photoshop layers as individual files?
To save files in different formats:
Go to File > Save As
The Save As dialog will appear. Select the format in which you would want the file saved as, as you can see. You can also set the destination where you want the file saved.
Below you can see the different file formats you can see:
For saving files for web and other devices, go to File> Save for Web
The Save for Web dialog will appear. You can set the file type as shown below.

Adobe Reader X can only save reader-enabled forms. Adobe Reader XI can save all forms.

Firefox v33 knocked out my Adobe 7 pro PDF printer plugin. PDFs print OK from other applications.

Firefox v33 knocked out my Adobe 7 pro PDF printer plugin. PDFs print OK from other applications. It happened a few times randomly, and it seemed to resolve spontaneously, but now it is persistent.
I've done scans for malware, which I suspected, but nothing showed up, nor corrected it with cleaning.
I had this problem before, and I found directions on how to rest the printer within Firefox, but I've forgotten how or where I got it.
I did try to re-install in control panel, but this appears to be a firefox issue. How do i rest the plugin or Firefox to once again print PDFs from browser pages. I need to use this feature printing receipts etc.

Are you using a toolbar button (Create PDF extension) or a printer driver (selecting Adobe PDF or Distiller in the Print dialog) to generate the PDF? Older versions of Create PDF have been reported not to work any more (by older I mean from Acrobat X or earlier), but the printing method should still work.
