I lost a custom made action. Is there any way to get it back?

I'm doing a stop motion project for school. I have  about 150 images so obviously if I wanted to apply any change to all of  them I'd make an action. So I did and with much success. It was very  simple, just Cross Process curve with a few changes and some steps  added. But I forgot to save it.
I opened and closed the  document multiple time and the action set saved. I applied it to about  50 photo's. About 30 minutes ago I realized it has vanished. I check  every place imaginable but couldn't find it. I've all ready applied it  to 50 pretty high res photo's. Is there a way to get it back?

Did Photoshop crash on you at some point?
Actions in the ACTIONS panel are only saved on disk when you close Photoshop successfully - or when you explicitly save the actions via the ACTIONS panel fly-out menu.  Unfortunately, if you've not done either, there's really no way of getting the action back.
